+ErikPaulsonFan that they execute homosexuals? They're currently an Islamic Republic, Im not sure what you were expecting...as for terrorist groups, theyre more like militia that the west doesnt like, so they call them terrorist groups. But sure, it's true that they do sponsor some of these violent militia. But it's only in the nation's interest and protective interests, just as America, Russia, China and Britain all do as well. Russia is basically breaking international law with its involvement in Ukraine. Why does America continue to protect Israel, who has now so clearly been condemned for its illegal settlements and fascinating use of extreme military violence? As for their torture program, it's pretty bad, but remember that it falls mainly under the intelligence agency of Iran, SAVAMA, which was the renewed form of the pre-revolution SAVAK, an equally brutal intelligence agency that was almost entirely tutored by the CIA, in particular their torture tactics. Look it up, all fact.

Just a word for those who claim that Rohani doesn't know English. Rohani's own professors back in the UK have admitted he can speak English well, it is just that his Persian is much better and he can express himself in a much more fluent and precise manner. Notice he never wears an ear piece when he's spoken to in English.
@MajorKeyvanNourhaghighiiran11 жыл бұрын
It was big mistake to talk in Persian, IF he had confidence to talk in English. I honestly believe talking in English with US Media has much more effect than translation. Even if Rouhani talks not very good in English was much better than the translation. Rouhani was Addressing People of USA and it makes sense he talks in English. {articularly whatever translation I am hearing is NOT what he said. IF Zarfi was successful in talking with Kerry because they talk in English
@kr2210011 жыл бұрын
k1k2k11 Although I can sort of see where you're coming from, I have to disagree. I believe the president of a country should conduct public speeches and interviews only in his/her native language. Speaking in other languages during private functions are a different matter. I sometimes see foreign presidents/prime-ministers, normally African or Indian, making public speeches in English and they just look and sound pathetic.

***** Show me one case where that is true. The only case I know of that the media likes to harp on is that of Mahmoud Asgari and Ayaz Marhoni whom where reportedly hanged for being homosexuals by the western media. They were in fact hanged for the crime of raping a 13-year-old boy. The only controversy to it is that the two executed were of the ages of 16 and 18, which seems to be in contradiction with "the Convention on the Rights of the Child."

All I am trying to get you to do is provide me with credible sources for me to follow up on to show you that, in this regard, in fact it is fabrication with an agenda. You are making claims, you have the burden of proof. It is your obligation to the truth. If not for my benefit at least prove it to yourself, there is no room for being negligent.
