@@J-MADFPV lol that red border flash in the goggles makes your heart stop. I’ve been running Lumenier NAV 6,000s (18650 2P). Near sea level, I get 25-28 minutes cruising 20mph, but at 10,000+, I was seeing like 15-18. Decent packs though if you ever wanna try lighter. Looks like you make your own anyways.

Yeah I actually have a Nav 6000 and a Geprc 6000 as well. They are lighter than the 9000mah I made and have been running. But This new pack has a rating of 90A (45A cells and it’s a 6S2P pack) continuous, which lets me fly fast without pushing the pack too much. I was pushing pretty hard on this flight because there was a fairly gusty headwind the whole way out. If I fly those 6000 packs the same way they get extremely hot

@@J-MADFPV gotcha. Yeah I actually toasted one in flight at an AMA field. Quad was doing 80 mph and poof…video gone. Into soft tall grass, no damage. But pack was deceased. I respect the current limits now lol.

Awsome footage and landscape!!! I have almost the same setup. I used the f7 stack from speedybee and emax motors. Have you had any jello issues on the videofeed from the O3 unit when totally letting off the throttle? I fell that the mounting off the O3 camera is too soft - I made small TPU washers to stiffen up the camera and that helped. I have tried many different ESC and BF 4.5 tunes. No mechanical issues. Other than that love the way the frame flies! Keep them shoots coming👍🏻👏🏻🤩

Absolutely amazing flight! Flying far with a quad is amazing and a bit nerve wracking. I’ve taken to fixed wing for my long range flights lately but still love my quads. Are you on EU or FCC? This past week I did a flight with O3 with 2 individual antennas vs the stock antenna and stock antennas on goggles 2 and was able to go just past 9 miles/14.5km out.

14.5km?!?! That’s amazing! I’m in the US so FCC. For this flight I had the Lumenier dual band antenna on the quad, which is basically the same as the O3 stock antenna but longer. And I have stock antennas on my goggles 2. Which antennas did you have on the quad for the O3 on that 14.5km flight?

When I was at around 5km away in this flight I had full LOS to the quad. The shots were the video signal gets low at closer distance was just because I was flying at the edge of my line of sight (dips in the terrain) so for those I knew it would happen and I was ready. The single digits at 5km is what I would like to try to improve with other antennas. Thanks for watching! Cheers

Wow great flight, most ppl dont fly that fast with LR quads. Nice to see :) You get great efficency going that fast compared to my rigs with Brotherhobby 2806.5 1300Kv. I wonder why. Mayby those T-Motor F90 1300kv work better at high load?

I like to go fast in the mountains for sure! No clue on the actual efficiency of the F90s other than a few good reviews I saw on them here, but so far I love them. They seem to be able to carry the heavy battery with no issue and they barely get warm to the touch. My AUW on this quad as flown in this video is 1580g. The battery alone is 870g. And there was a gusty head wind on the way out in this flight. Anyway, thanks for watching! Cheers!

@@oscarfellenburg711 nope, the 03 air unit does not have GPS. I have a separate GPS on this drone and “return to home” setup via Betaflight. I think the gps module I have is listed in the video description. Cheers!
