Nasi minyak usually served with pickled cucumber.. We called it acar timun.. Nasi minyak in Terengganu is the main dish if there's wedding.. They're served with terengganu style daging gulai or beef dish, ayam goreng/ayam berempah, ayam masak merah and others..

Generally, if you ask the food stall owner, this is No.1 or this is the best in the town…. They may not know how to respond. Most if not all food seller has this humble approach of making and selling their food (some of the more spontaneous sellers might just say Yes). It is also the concept of ‘Sama tapi tak Serupa’ (Same but not Similar). That’s why there are many variations of the same dish at different establishments to try, even if they are the same dish. So it’s difficult to say if it’s the best (some places maybe popular and good, but may not be the best)

I saw on the news that there are some tigers roaming around the village in Terengganu so don't go into the forest.. the villagers came across a tiger not far from their house so be careful because there are many tigers in the Malaysian forest..🤞🤞

10:38 in the 'real' jungle of Dungun, 1 hour drive from Kuala Dungun you can find the biggest "cengal" tree, 10 times bigger than that tree (65m tall, 17m girth) Cengal is a hardwood timber highly sought after for building boats and buildings
