As a side note...um...why not pad up🤔 I assume you enjoy what you do... ..why not invest in a low-tier life insurance plan... Like "ppPads". These videos are so intense! The control I see in them is just masterful! I just started downhilling again as an old fart of 55. When I was a young fart in the 80's we started bombing hills. I even made my own gloves which had layers of cut PVC pipe bolted to the palms of gloves. It's great having a longboard and pre-made gloves but for the life of me I cannot see the logic in that stance. Yes, I see the "pivot" of the ankles and also the aerodynamics of it, but removing any part of a shoes contact surface from my skateboards grip tape at speed, for me is just counterintuitive.
