I’ve managed to top out at 33mph on my board. I can’t imagine what it would feel like to hit the speeds you do. Edit: 52 mph. Speed wobbles and adrenaline hit like a truck, likewise with anything else at 52 mph. I started on top of that hill as fool, and came to the bottom as a religious fool.

Same around 30 is my top speed on a longboard. I got up to 28 on a mountainboard being skitched by a golf cart and that felt super stable. I feel like I could reasonably ride one at 35-40 without much difficulty but that’s pretty obvious with the big ass wheels and wide trucks

But I don't know why this time your long boarding skill felt really awesome. May be the speedometer on the side influenced my brain to compare & feel the speed in real life feeling the adrenaline & adventure as you accelerated on the straights & braked sliding around the turns).
