Bowman with an interesting answer on the Top 4 RD spot. I do not think we are done
@anishsingh7597Ай бұрын
I think Stan brings more of a mindset of not being afraid to take risks in order to get the best out of the team. Holland did, at times, but wish he had done so more in his 5 years. I think Bowman isnt afraid and I do exprect numerous Stanley cups with him at the helm as GM.

I don't understand the Hoffman PTO. Oil don't need more offensive scoring or older players. They need younger players with speed/size/grit for 3rd/4th line or D-line. Who is or are the bully/tough instigators on this team?

I get the hate for him, but you cannot deny that he is an excellent speaker.
@KptKrunch9481Ай бұрын
Personally I don't - I think only the ignorant and the haters hate him. Bowman did NOTHING wrong - he found out about the issue and as a rookie GM IMMEDIATELY reported it to his boss who was the team President and was the man in charge at the time (McDonough). It was McDonough and the HR dept that swept it under the rug, along wtih Kyle Beach himself! I'm not going to make Beach scapegoat per say here, he is a victim, but he kept quiet after it was swept away for years - why? What kind of deal was worked out between McDonough, the BH HR Dept, and Beach?? Notice a name missing here? Bowman had NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! He was just the fall guy when it came to light years later as by then Bowman was the PoHC as well as the GM but I'm sure he had thought it was all taken care of. This isn't me talking out of my ass, this is from the report filed by the independent lawyers who reviewed the case. I'm not 'exonerating' Bowman per say, but he paid his penalty and has done a lot of work with the Kennedy foundation. Forgiveness does not make you complicit with what happened and I for one am glad we got a guy like Bowman in charge - and you can bet nothing like this will happen on his watch here in Edmonton.
