I felt exactly the same way my first semester of college mostly because I took online classes, I was basically teaching myself everything with assignments, discussions and quizzes due 11:59 pm, the next semester I took face to face classes and since then I never looked back, I understand more, fewer discussion posts since you guys interact in class and I get the value of what I am paying for. In order not to forget when your assignments are due you can copy your schools calendar on your phone and you see what is due each day. I believe by now you are more settled, wishing you the best.

Hmmmm! Asy don't worry, you'll be fine. I felt the same way too when I first started, their system didn't go down well with me and my first semester was online. It was just like I was teaching myself, but when we started on campus, it felt better. Please feel free to talk to your coursemates and the Professors, They are always willing to explain better. My son felt this way too when he arrived University of Regina. It was now that he is in 300 level that he has started coping with his studies. The other of my son in BC was just catching fast. His first semester result was A parallel and just 0ne B in one course and that is 78%. Dont worry, you will pick up.

I feel schooling is North America is really the ghetto. I did 1 semester in the US and I nearly died. I didn't have any online classes ooh but the assignments and reading lists per week wasn't easy. And if you don't do assignments or do the class reading the lecturer will just be looking at you in class lol. Ah it wasn't easy and I had a clingy toddler, I had to abandon the program because I nearly died.
