WWF Raw takes on WCW Nitro in another episode of Reliving The War! This series looks at every Raw and Nitro from the Monday Night War in chronological order, trying to find out who really had the better show on a week to week basis.
We are now just 6 days away from WCW Bash at the Beach 1996, the event that would make a huge change within World Championship Wrestling. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall are going to take on Sting, Lex Luger and Randy Savage but Hall and Nash also have a mystery third partner. The Outsiders make an appearance on this week's Nitro on TNT, and the hostile takeover nearly begins a little early.
Over on Raw, the company are gearing up for In Your House 9 where Camp Cornette will do battle with Shawn Michaels, Ahmed Johnson and The Ultimate Warrior. Raw kicks off this week with the battle of The Rockers when WWF Champion Shawn Michaels does battle with his old partner Marty Jannetty.

I've seen comments on Rockers matches where some are still stunned that Shawn became a bigger star than Marty and believe that it should have been Marty over Shawn. I'm just imagining a parallel universe where Marty is the backstage politician leading the Kliq while Shawn is holding on to the rocker gimmick and winds up in that nerdy tag team with Leif Cassidy.

I find it amazing how over the course of this series your personality and humour has started coming out. One thing I noticed for months, WCW gave away so many world title matches on Nitro. Once Hogan got the belt back that stopped and there wasn't a world title match until January or August 1997.
