The Raw vs Nitro Monday Night War continues in Reliving The War. We've reached the 14th of October 1996, The WWF is one week away from their In Your House: Buried Alive pay per view while WCW is on the road to Halloween Havoc 1996. The WWF are promoting a Mankind vs Undertaker main event match at the pay per view and also a Sycho Sid vs Vader matchup, the winner of this bout will face Shawn Michaels for the WWF Championship at Survivor Series 1996. The main storyline over on WCW Nitro currently is Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage.
Miss Elizabeth sends a video message to Savage this week on Nitro, a message that causes the Macho Man to leave the arena. The nWo show up during the final segment of Nitro while over on the WWF channel, a blockbuster main event takes place that gets billed as "The biggest Raw main event in history"; Shawn Michaels vs Stone Cold Steve Austin.

I was actually at this raw(my first show ever!) and yeah this got late. By the time they got to the third show, the building was emptying. We actually left during goldusts(I remember as we all ran down to get his glitter that used to fall that was laying after his entrance) match against sid last week(we were all under 10 and tired) but a huge group of people were leaving at this point with us. I don’t remember anything about that night wrestling wise, except the booing for fake diesel and razor, and the fans around us yelling it’s Isaac yankem. Good times.
