Guest ranches are "experiential." They are not simply a destination with activities; when you disconnect from the daily digital world, you get in touch with nature, friends and family, a beautiful sunset, moose and elk grazing in a natural habitat, and the simply things that enrich your life. Hunting with my man in the Rawah..is were we found the best elk/deer/bear hunting in Colorado 10 miles on horse back 20 miles in and out...this is the best of the natural world...soon we incounterd tracks..?18/to 20 inches..look like barefoot human...only way bigger..at 10.000 feet in winter...never had a problem, but we leave as much as we take hanging for our real host!

Hi Kevin- Having filmed 52 ranches in the TV Series I can offer they are all different in personality and the experience they offer. Ranches can be large family ranches with 125 guests, or smaller adult ranches with 12-20 guests each week. There are true working cattle ranches, ranches with water activities and fishing, or desert locations like Arizona. Betcha price fits all those pretty things too(yep expensive)..... would give up those fine things for a better price. This is not what a western/dude pranch should be. Everything today is all about money, spending, giving your hard earned money away. That's what this country has been built on and no one sees it. We have a consumer based country! All about spending.... sad! No one helping their fellow man....even here! 🤔😒😳😢😢 This truly breaks my heart. Yes this is all beautiful, but they try to make this family oriented but only for the rich. I remember places like this were supposed to give you the "authentic" & real feel. Not what this place or any of them I'm sure, is. This is luxury pure and simple. Sad....

If you'd ever been to a guest ranch you would understand the exceptional value they provide. All of your meals are included, compared to trying to find 20 different places to eat during a weeks vacation. There are no lines to queue up in as at a theme park or Disney World. Your activities, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, etc., are all included. The horses are an expensive item to keep, especially when you need 2-3 times as many horses as guests to insure a good riding companion based on your riding ability. You accommodations and entertainment are also included. I think if you figured out the cost for an equivalent vacation for all the amenities that are included, you would find it an exceptional value.
