Wattie is the man, and I have oved the Exploited since I was a kid. I got the opportunity to sing "Maggie" with The Exploited in I believe 1990 in Newark NJ. Amazing show and great band as always......

He has a very thick accent, yes, but if you pay close attention he's not unintelligible and I understood everything he said. His enthusiasm and honesty are admirable traits and people like him, the UK Subs and G.B.H. are the reason punk is in fact, still not dead.

The original bands from the first wave (Pistols, Clash, Siouxsie, buzzcocks) were all completely different from each other and it was the media who lumped them together and called them 'Punk'. The second wave called themselves Punk and all dressed and sounded the same (Exploited, Blitz, GBH)

Seen the Exploited numerous times and had a some good chats with Wattie after the gigs, great guy very entertaining to listen too. I went back stage many years ago at Bradford Rio's and enjoyed a few beers, food and a chat with all the band, good memories. Wattie told Me then the `New album` was out soon, still waiting Ha Ha.

I thought I was an excellent student and lingual practitioner of the English Language, but I can’t fully understand Wattie i rewind and rewind, to no avail! I think I know why. Years ago a group of English chaps came over here to work for a spell and they had the same dialect, fuckin big as hell, and each one of their mates was bigger than the last one! They had a word “yoman” (I think that’s right) I heard one of the Brits say it, and his mates answered in the affirmative, I was bewildered, so I being the inquisitive type asked him “ What Da-Fuck did he even say? Was that another language? He laughed and broke it down for the layman, it was an abbreviated term for the phrase “Do you want to go on home man?” So Wattie’s probably difficult to follow because we’re not hip, so we should learn proper British slingo, or bugger off then!
