Thank you 🙏 John I just now ordered the H70 using your *NOSCRUB* code. after watching your comparisons of all three models 310, h70, 400 it was clear to me… h70 suits my needs, also it comes across to me that it may be portable, if I need to take with me. You deserve the commission. Thank you again for keeping me healthy!

Just purchased the Hurom H70. I have an older Hurom but am disabled and on oxygen and the cleanup has gotten so difficult I just don't juice. I think this juicer will solve my problem. If I don't care for the exrtra pulp I can strain. Thanks so much for the video and encouragement.

I need some advice....I know that the Nama j2 is one of the best in the business, but my budget allows for $200...maybe $250. Do you have any recommendations for a juicer at that price point, or should I just save for a few months and buy the nama?
@discountjuicers3 ай бұрын
At this point, I have not identified any REALLY good machines in the $200-$250 range. Honestly, save up for the Nama J2, Namawell also has no-interest financing and you can make payments so you can buy it sooner rather than later.

Juicers made in Korea use BPA-FREE plastics in the parts that touch the produce/juice. I have seen Chinese branded (cheap) juicers use plastics that contain BPA. Several companies such as Nama, Tribest and Sana don't have prop 65 warnings on their juicers.

Is a dishwashable juicer a thing? Like one day do you feel it would work?

I do not recommend to dishwashing any plastic slow juicer. A matter of fact this machine just needs spraying off in the sink to get clean. No dishwashing necessary.

I'm starting to use a kind of Indian style mortar and pestle pressing against a fine mesh in a vacuum/CO2 container instead of my slow juicer or blender. It chews the food better with zero oxygen.
@discountjuicers5 ай бұрын
would love to see a video on how you do this!
@jamesjonnes5 ай бұрын
@@discountjuicers Don't think I'm making a video, or a product. I'm too old for that, I made it just for personal use. I based it on videos of ancient Indian bull-powered groundnut oil extraction machines, but used stainless steel. It seems that they are used a lot in Africa as well. It really crushes the cell walls, and without the heat of the blender. It's like a slow juicer but with more pressure and abrasion to chew better, and the vacuum sucks the oxygen from the juice as the cell walls are opened. Feel free to take the idea, it's actually a pretty easy machine to make. I also learned a lot from your videos.
@jamesjonnes5 ай бұрын
@@discountjuicers A few problems my machine solves: Vacuum blenders go to only about 5% oxygen, if you want to go lower than that you need to replace the gas in the container. Blenders also add heat as they move too fast, higher crushing pressure with a slower speed is better. Simply pressing like the Pure isn't enough either since there isn't a vacuum to drain oxygen from the juice as it comes out, and it doesn't destroy the cell walls well (that's why the juice comes out too liquid). Slow juicers lack the high crushing pressure of other machines and lack the vacuum.
@peterwestender5 ай бұрын
@@jamesjonnesI agree with your analysis on the pros and cons of several options, slow juicers vs vacuum blenders. However, wonder how you do this, and would be really great for all of us out here if you could share more information on your method.
@jamesjonnes5 ай бұрын
@@peterwestender Search for kharal machine. Use some reinforced stainless mesh instead of the traditional mortar, add a lot of pressure to the pestle. It's basically a slow juicer but with focused infinitely small space for better grinding (slow juicers depend on the pressure generated by the food, so resulting particle sizes are large. There's a fixed space between the screw and the screen. If the screw was being pressed to one of the sides then it would also grind food to powder particle size like blenders and the mortar and pestle). With some modifications to be faster/add more pressure maybe a wet grinder could do the job as well.

I think that it’s very important to have a juicer where the pulp is dry otherwise you losing a lot of juice and money I use a small horizontal Korean juicer which is rebadged from a top brand and the pulp is drier than most vertical juicers
