Another awesomely thorough video John! Haven't watched any of yours in quite a while but you haven't lost your commitment to answer ALL the questions one might have, and the meta links reflect this dedication to detail. Just used a meta link to get back to measurements of the units...who else even attempts to be this thorough?

Thank you so much for this video. These were my final two and both are such great juicers I was having a hard time deciding. Once you broke everything down in such detail I was able to decide that the Hurom H70 met more of my needs. Used your link and coupon code and wanted to thank you for everything you do!

Wow that was a whole motion picture! Thank you so much for all of the time and work you put into these. *Quick note to viewers who have less time to watch - click the gear while the video is playing and change the speed. I watch the videos at 1.5-2x speed. John is still easy to understand and I can get the info I need without losing so much time to a screen :) Hurom was at the bottom of my list until you told me about the H70 and I watched your reviews, I'm surprised to say the H70 is now at the top of my list. The J2 screen looks like a major pain to clean and over time I imagine it would have to be replaced. I can't believe how fast you cleaned the H70. The warranty does concern me though. I don't understand why they don't want to back their products after 50 years, especially when competitors offer generous 15 year warranties on their whole machines. I'm sure the motor is the priciest to replace/fix, but it's the plastic parts that will be used multiple times a day thatI worry about most... A few more questions about the H70: Have you juiced ginger? Does Hurom have any plans for a larger bowl? What did they say about the leaky spout? Hoping they remedied this for you. After you've used this for a few months now, what is the buildup like? Definitely a top concern since the cleaning is a big selling point for me. Did they confirm, in writing, that the Prop 65 is only bc of the cord? You mentioned you were waiting for that in another video. That would be very comforting :) Thank you again! This was an incredible comparison.
@discountjuicers3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comments. I have juiced trace amounts of ginger in the H70 and it works great. I would slice it against the grain into 1/4" slices. I do not believe hurom has any plans for a larger hopper. They tend to just make a new juicer with changes. Hurom have watched my videos, and seen my leaky spout, but have not reached out to send me a replacement part or comment on it to me. I just looked yesterday and it does look like their was buildup, but last time it was cleaned, it was cleaned by my assistant who may not clean as well as me? I will make an updated video with the buildup in the future :) They have NOT confirmed in writing anything about prop 65 at this point

Thank you so much for the speed tip. At 1.5 it's like regular talking to me. But 1.75 was perfect. I've literally never been able to watch one of his videos all the way through because of the length (ADHD). Now I have a better chance!

Hi John. I purchase the Nama J2 juicer after watching a video you did on it last Nov. so almost a year ago. Thank you for the discount code as well. I have been loving this juicer very much especially compared to the Breville juicer l had previously. Something really weird started to happen about a week ago and l am trying to figure out is it me or a defect with the machine, I wrote to Nama and they are sending me a new hopper/chamber assembly but they don't seem to know why this happening. When l attach the hopper to the chamber it jams in there. I cannot just twist it as l did before to unlock it. I noticed it after l finished juicing and was unable to disassemble the two parts so l filled the hopper with water and dish soap and just let it soak a few hours. It didn't help but then l started to turn the processing blade a few times back and fourth and that finally freed it and l could unlock it. This happens all the time whether l have used it or assemble it after it is clean. The company as you said in your video absolutely stands behind their product and it's great they are replacing this assembly but l am worried if this might happen again and am l doing something wrong. I know you have alot of experience with juicers and have you ever had anything like this happen.

Got the Hurom H70 and absolutly love it. The cleanup is so easy and the new design of the augur is a game changer. The hopper had nothing left over and inside the chamber was clean as well. Makes juicing so much easier! If I had one negative I would want a bigger hopper but not a deal breaker since you can fill up when it gets low.

Please explain what the Prop 25 is about. Thank you. Love your videos.
@discountjuicers2 ай бұрын
The Prop 65 warning is on the hurom box, but not on the Nama box. Prop 65 is a law in California. Learn more at www.p65warnings.ca.gov/ From what hurom has told me, the reason for the prop 65 warning on the juicer box is that the power cord that is included with the juicer contains a chemical that is on the prop 65 list. No parts that come in contact with food have any prop 65 warning chemicals.
@pesto126012 ай бұрын
@@discountjuicers Prop 65 is California overreaching to try and protect folks but instead just causing EVERY product to have to add a warning about "something" on its product that contains a tiny nasty thing. When you go outside in CA and breathe normally, you are getting more pollutants than most of the Pro65 warning items. Silliness!

John, Can I make sorbet in the blender?
@discountjuicers2 ай бұрын
Frozen Sorbet can be made in a Blender with a tamper or the Unique Twister Jar (in a blendtec blender). This way you can process 100% frozen fruits without any additional liquid. People also use a food processor to make sorbet. That being said, each method of making sorbet has its own set of pros and cons. for example in a blender it will add lots more air (oxidation) so lower nutrition, but some people may prefer the aerated texture.

@@discountjuicers understood Well I appreciate that And I am glad I was able to view the video. Do you still recommend the J2? Or is the H70 a better investment??
@discountjuicers2 ай бұрын
@@TerenceGrier For an "investment" I would say the Nama J2 is a BETTER investment. Why? the 15 year warranty, meaning it is GUARANTEED to work for the next 15 years for you. Hurom only has a 2 Year parts warranty, which is 7.5x Shorter, and a 10 year motor warranty, which is 5 years shorter than the Nama J2. So if you look as a juicer as an investment in your health, the J2 is clearly the winner, because it is guaranteed to positively affect your health longer.
