Gordon's pit crew being switched to Johnson in 2010 was more in depth. Jeff Gordon wasn't going to win the Chase, and Johnson's crew had sucked for a LOT of the season. There were many races where Johnson's pit crew cost him a lot of spots on the track in crucial situations (and cost him a win or two). Johnson's pit crew was again sucking that day, and that was merely the final straw.

Kyle Busch climbed over the hurdle NASCAR set before him in 2015, so I do believe he earned it. My problem with the 2015 chanpionship was Harvick blatantly wrecking the feild at Talladega to avoid being eliminated from the chase.

Kyle’s playoff waiver in 2015 makes sense because he broke his leg in a NASCAR sanctioned race. If he had done so outside of NASCAR competition, I wouldn’t have agreed with him getting a chance to get back in playoff contention. He deserves that title. Great comeback from such a scary injury. The Ohio State comparison doesn’t make sense because Covid isn’t comparable to an injury that happens during competition. Now, if Jimmie Johnson had been given some sorta waiver after having to miss a race because he tested positive? Same with Austin Dillon? That would’ve been ridiculous.

I think 2021 craziest moment will be 16 or more drivers winning. With 9 different drivers with wins right now and half them aren’t normal winners. So if the normal winners like Denny, harvick, Elliott, and Kyle and Kurt Busch win that makes 14 and I think we’ll have a few more surprise winners like bubba, Austin, and Suarez. Also buescher and preece have been really impressive.
@AMR_Krissy3 жыл бұрын
On the Kyle Busch deal, i think his championship in 2015 was a little bit gimmicky, but theres no doubt that he had been screwed out of a championship on more than one year before so i feel like it was a justified deal. He also absolutely kicked ass on the second leg of the season so my mans didnt just Chase Elliot his way into the championship
