Are the laces all the same thickness? I’m curious if people use thicker in web or when they have the leather skived/split.

I skive the laces for the palm and heel. Laces in the web and fingers is wider.

Do you scrub the leather first with water then soap? Just curious if that’s better than scrubbing right away with cleaner

Yes I do. When the the leather is super dry the soap sill just soak into the leather. Moisturizing it first helps the soap to lather.
