Have the same glove and want to relace my glove. What size laces are you using ? An is it just 1 size lace for the whole glove ?

There are two laces on the outer shell towards the palm, one on the thumb and one on the pinky that you didn’t replace. Do they have a specific purpose because they seem different than the rest of the lacing. Thanks for a great video!

I think your talking about the thumb and pinky loops. They are sewn directly into the liner of the glove. They are only replaced if it breaks or becomes uncomfortable from wear.

@@DurhamGloveRepair Yep! I believe that's it. It is a bit hard to trace and I did not want to ruin my glove trying to rip it out. Now I know to leave it well enough alone! Thanks again!

For the hinge lace do you get thinner leather since it is where your palm will be inside the glove?

I have a skiver I use to thin the lace for the heel and palm lace.

What lace do you use for the glove? I see you have a few places linked in the description. USA Sports Direct cuts their own lace, and the fastpitch place uses Tennessee Tanning lace. Which is better?

Also, what do you use to apply the palm adhesive on the gloves?

They are both high quality options. Thats why I use both. Just depends on how much I buy and what colour lace I need. Its a putty knife for the adhesive.

Personal preference really. Id do it a couple times a season but I personally like to keep my glove looking clean and new.
