@@Rawrkee Hell Yeah Make a Bunk Bed in that engine bay! My 2 favorite looking Honda's are The Prelude and The 99-01 Civic Si both have unique shapes that make them their own car. Today The new Acura ILX with an Integra Badge on it just look like an elongated Type R. Is it a good car? Yes, but it's not an Integra.

yes, you'll need it if you already have the 4th gen kswap kit however, I heard that Hasport has been developing a kit for the 5th gen but who knows when that will be released

can't wait to see this swap done. Also just to let you know make sure you remove the oil residue (rust protectant) that comes on the flywheel with brake cleaner before you install the clutch disc you don't want that stuff in you clutch disc.

Your welds are actually looking really good! You will get a lot of spatter with flux core no matter what. It is just the downside of flux and MIG welding in general. Get some anti-spatter spray and they will come off a lot easier, usually with just a brush.

All kswaps are based on the 02-04 RSX setup and so you must run a 02-04 RSX ecu with Ktuner, Hondata, Haltech, or some other system. Actually, I think Haltech is a complete standalone which doesn't require the RSX ecu but to answer your question, I'll be running Hondata. I didn't find out about Haltech until after I got Hondata and the RSX ecu. For the amount I spent on those two, I could've spent a little more to get Haltech which is newer technology and has a lot more tuning capability and universability

Nice work. I wouldn't weld all the holes in the bay tho. Shaved engine bay makes it look to much show car. I would remove all unneeded brackets and stuff but leave the holes and just my the bay look flawless with paint. will give it that OEM+ look.

Thanks bro, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed this vid :D I didn't wanna mess with argon gas and so thats why I went with flux welding but I quickly realized the disadvantages of flux core wire and I really want to upgrade to Mig or even Tig 🤤 hahah I haven't given any thought on how I'll set up the exhaust, I hope its much easier than I imagine it to be, I heard something about v band clamps but I have no idea on how they work 🤣

Yo! Amazing! Doing a K24 swap too. Biggest hurdle for me is the engine mount that you needed to fabricate. I cant find any 4th gen ludes i can nick the mount from, so i`ll probably need to fabricate one myself aswell. What thickness steel did you use to create it?

Heck yea bro, go for it! The k20 has the best powerband thoughout the rev range but the k24 has more torque at higher rpm and abundant. You can get k24s anywhere and they not expensive either.

Thanks for the videos. I'm researching a K swap for by Gen 4 Prelude. It seems the Hasport mounts are the best. But I was surprised you had to modify one of them. I thought they were unpack, bolt in and go. Is that not the case?

Hey buddy, hasport makes a 4th gen lude motor mount set. No need to make one. They don't have one for the 5th gen lude. He is using the 4th gen mount set and fabricating the driver side mount.

@@yeeztodge6654 the oil pan is the lowest point of the car. The hasport mounts will allow me to raise the engine however my fuel gauge on the fuel rail is already hitting the hood and so I’ll have to notch the hood a little or relocate the fuel gauge somewhere else

Hasport recently released a swap kit for the 5th Gen unless you already bought the 4th gen kit. If you did, it wouldn’t hurt to ask hasport if you could exchange them

What you think about the new Prelude prius concept. If you have a hard time thinking of doing anything. Just think of tightening by hand one bolt in for 3 hours. Doing it slowly if possible.World record if you can procrastination overthinking and not doing. You know your better than that. In speed and experience on other adapted things.Tighten it down in seconds take the risk do better next time around is the way to go. Okay back to Scotty Kilmer updated rant channel. 😂 Keep them videos uploaded and stop overthinking BS limitations. Stop limiting yourself a lot. Just over do like all your videos same concept. You find out at the end its all the same strategies apply to everything that fits your own needs. Have a goal plan just try to do it faster than what you plan out for.

the Prelude concept is exciting to me, think about it. We just got a new Supra, 400Z, FRS, Civic, Integra, and Mazda just announced the RX-7 comeback. I mean bruh, of all cars Honda could bring back, they chose the Prelude! Just like the 5th gen, its probably a guinea pig for new technology to go into another chassis. I think the 5th gen came with ATTS before the the NSX? I could be wrong.. But also, did you notice that the Prelude concept is also a coupe???? The Civic and Integra are both sedans, so thats pretty interesting :D Thanks for the pep talk, sometimes its hard to keep going when I get caught up on all the small details. There's nothing in life that we've gone through where we didn't make it, we're alive today so we just gotta keep movin forward! 🍻🍻🍻
