The main reason to start in Story Mode imo is just that it slowly teaches you your character. Adventure Mode can be selected immediately and gives a lot of tangible rewards, but I get to level 70 and feel like I barely know my character's potential. Story Mode drip-feeds you at a pace which is perhaps more conducive to some people learning, , myself included.

Definitely. I played the game for the first time with friends and they kinda lvl me to lvl 30, and I couldn't get into the game. I found it boring and I was just lost. I started playing season 20 out of boredom, and I'm having a blast doing the story and seeing how I like to play etc.

Alex Re I’m glad you’re able to enjoy it. I have found with many co-op games that I like to have a private playthrough to take the game at my own pace. It helps enjoyment of the game a lot.

@@BloodyInitiate yes definitely. I have a few friends that play games I like, but one of them just ruins the games for me. Like he will try to skip all cutscene's and dialog to get to end game because "that's the fun part". But then proceed to barely grind and say "it's too boring just grinding". He likes playing co-op, but unless I beat the game by myself and grasp the game, I cant play with him. Lol I tried doing bounties with him, but he just picked the "top tier" characters and just rushed thru everything. Like without regard from my enjoyment he just scew me over from getting credit for killing bosses and chests.

Alex Re I also have friends who are bad at co-op, so I feel your pain. The best and biggest part of Diablo 3 IS the endgame, but the campaign is a good tutorial for your character and worth playing through at your own pace at least once. Adventure mode has a lot of stuff to learn too, but it’s the same for each character. The campaign is a nice way to learn your class, because each class can be played at least 3-4 different ways. Alex Re yeah I get that. Sounds like he’s used running split bounties. My guess is that you play to relax and take in the environment. I would stick to solo for a lot of the content. Do what you find fun, not necessarily what’s meta.

Perfect.This is exactly what I was looking for- a comprehensive explanation for beginners with tips and explanations about the game, its systems/classes and some of the terminologies as well as game play. This video is much more helpful than anything else I've found- as many other videos say "for beginners" but don't give enough information about the fundamentals. Amazing guide props. Liked and subscribed! Your patient easy to understand and patient explanation is spot on. Started playing 3 days ago (2022) again. I bought D3 three years ago got in act 1 midway through the cathredal and i kinda felt meh back the and quit..i was WRONG. I should have given more time. Got through the cathedral in campaign as a non-seasonal monk to level 30 on lowest difficulity , right before i had to take the boat to somewhere in act 1 , such a cool game. Changed to hard (even then it was easy). Fast forward, found your guide and started over as a seasonal monk and put the difficulity on expert(2nd difficulity before torment). Superb!! Just the right difficulity hard enough for a challenge at level 1. Didnt watched any build guides. (In my opinion) i love to find the builds and combos through experience of what i like and what not. Thus you fsil and succeed organicaly through your own experience. In comparison to an expert who put x thousand hours of his own experience and they know what work and what not inside out. And its a such good feel as i built the non-seasonal monk with my newbie experience. Oh! Nice gear 678% damage with a skill if enemies are blind, frozen. Dont remember the skill names(newbie). So my combo was activate the skill which needs stack of 3, then blind everyone , vortex and beat the heck with that 678% dmg boost skill (3 pasives, dual wielding, the one which gives speed boost if enemy health is 75%+, and the dmg max 20% if enemies are near). Awsome feel. Cheers.

I just bought this with the bundle for D2, and started playing. I'm confused about attack on Lclick. How do you set it so that Lclick is just for moving? Also, how do you constrain the mouse cursor in window mode? There's an option to check for fullscreen-window mode. But I'm in regular window mode. Checking that option doesn't work. I do plan to play through D2 first. However, I'm a bit confused about why users don't like D3. I'll admit, I really don't like the art style. Same goes for Torchlight. It seems intentionally skewed to be cartoonish. I really don't understand why they did this. Since the first two games, they at least tried to go for realism in the character design. However, D3 as a game itself and entire seems much much better. I have played some of the older version of D2, and it's super clunky. Nowhere near as good as the design for D3.

I've beaten the game multiple times and just now (yes it's 2023, yes this video is 4 years old, yes Diablo 4 is out) getting around to playing the end game content. One simple question, is hardcore worth it? Reason I ask is I started it for the trophies (I'm on PS4) but I get really exhilarated by only having 1 life. Should I go back to normal play or continue risking hardcore? I guess I had 2 questions. 🤪

It’s not designed the best. You definitely want to be a rend barb because it does WAY more damage

Can we play seasonal hero in regular campaign mode? All I did was start a character an now I'm in the 3rd act in campaign so I can unlock adventure mode. Cuz I heard to just get through the campaign first but God damn it's so long lol. I'm guessing I'd have to create a new hero for seasonal. I'm only playing on normal cuz I am scared as shit lol.

Once you finish the campaign, you can use that same hero in adventure mode :)

I have a question about my stash I can share the money and what's in the trunk with all my other characters. But the new character that I just made I cannot share any of that, is there a reason for that? I think the character is a season character does that make it the reason why I can't share anything with it? Play On ps4.

If some of your characters are seasonal and one is not, they will not share the stash. Also if one is hardcore and some aren't, those won't share either

There should be a game settings menu where you can pick adventure, campaign, and challenge rift. Just pick the one you want!
