Could you please do an updated planner for endgame please? I've just hit maps and Ive been pretty F'd for resist gear, so Im getting dropped by random things and getting 1 shot. I'm interested to see what defense nodes you took.

Resistances come 90% from gear. Gear should be life + resists for starting out in maps. After you gather some currency and get some good drops you can swap to better gear later. But for starting out and to die a lot less, you will ideally want to cap all your resists, and also get as much chaos res as possible. The build is very simple since it does not have any infinite scaling mechanic like other builds, so it isnt as good in the endgame. The only thing you can really improve is a higher damage weapon and +X to melee skills.

Fyi. I used the standard staff attack with attack speed and added cold dmg gems and it crushed everything until i got ice strike. No need to go ranged imo.
