I checked out the website and I noticed you guys do not carry replacement lenses for the aviator 58mm size frames. I was disappointed to discover this since I wanted to buy a set of replacement lenses.

Hi, I found an old B&L Ray Ban Frame without lenses locally, will there be an issue in fitment if I buy modern day lenses? They frame are aviators but there isn’t a model number on the frame. Just text stamp “B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A”

All of our lenses are made using two different kinds of high quality plastics depending on what type of lens you order. ​ -​Enhanced Polarized: Our Enhanced Polarized lenses are made from high quality, low profile triacetate. This material provides a lightweight lens, are highly impact resistant and won't shatter. ​-Standard and Elite: Our Standard and Elite lenses are made from injection molded polycarbonate. Lightweight and thinner than glass lenses, polycarbonate is more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. Polycarbonate inherently blocks 100 percent UV rays without needing a special coating. The frame on my "Ray-Ban 0RB3509 006/82 Polarized Active Lifestyle Pilot Sunglasses" is a bit diff whereby there are to screws on the inside uniike in this post where they are placed on top. Can you tell me if these two "inside" screws are the ones i need to loosen??

Hello, +Dinesh. Thanks for reaching out. This installation video is for the Ray-Ban Aviator Large 55mm RB3025 lens installation. Apologies, as we don't currently manufacture our replacement lenses for the Ray-Ban 0RB3509 and aren't familiar with installation on this frame style. That said, a good tactic to find which screws are necessary to loosen for installation is to study the back of the frames for any signs for a "break" where the frames look like they would be pulled apart. The nearby screw to the "break" is likely the one you'll need to loosen. That said, we'd advise taking your frames to a local sunglasses distributor to see if they are able to install new lenses for you. Best of luck!

Our Non-Polarized lenses are 1.7 mm thick and made of polycarbonate for advanced clarity. Installation of the lenses, regardless of the material, should work the same.
