58mm looks the best for me, I’d say when it comes to buying sunglasses, the normal size not too small and not too big is always the best option

62 are basically the kind-of-a-cool hippy, possibly Vietnam vet, late sixties and early seventies look, and the 58 are more like the classic original aviators from the 1940s and 1950s. The small ones seem to be a modernised variant of the aviators to make them suit modern clothing more, but I personally don’t like them. I like the medium size and honestly the large size looks pretty cool too.

55mm for a modern look more fashionable look. 58mm for a more functional and utilitarian look however, if you had to choose one than you can't go wrong with 58mm because they still look uber cool!

As far as what looks best on you in your face-The 58 suits you the best. But the 55 also looks good. (For that different style when you want that little bit of a smaller lens. )👍🏻

In my opinion the 58's look good on you the 55 also do however you can see the sides are sticking to your temples that's the only ting that makes them seem small for you , in my early 20's i loved the 55's and never realized they were sticking to my temples so i think i need 58's now i guess i'll go to a dealer and try them both before i decide. I like 55mm aviators, if you have the face for it (obviously if they look too small it doesn't work) I think a pair of aviators on the slightly smaller side is the best look, and where they look most natural and refined, as well as modern depending on your outfit (the 62mm has a more old fashioned 70's 80's look). I think going down the the smallest size you can wear without it looking 'too small' is a good rule of thumb, 55 if you can, otherwise 58. 60 or higher in certain style cases where you want them to be oversized, or just if you have a large head obviously. I personally find aviators that are over sized just look stupid allot of the time, even though it typically what you tend to see quite allot, I think allot of people just throw on a pair of aviators without thinking about the size and the lenses just dominate their face because they are 60mm lenses. especially so with cheaper aviators which seem to come 60mm or even 63mm as standard. It takes some specific looking to find some with 55mm lenses especially on the cheaper end.

Good video! Very informative! I thing the 58mm (medium) look and fit the best on you. I am a small guy, and I wear the 58mm (medium). I have had a total of three Ray-Ban low bridge Aviators, black frames with green lenses, since 1988. I am in the market for a new pair at this time, or two new pairs for that matter. My 1988 first pair where crushed by mistake by someone else, and I made her pay for them. I still have my 1989 second pair I still wear them today after 33 years! The earpieces are cracked at this time. My 1991 third pair that I purchased where a back-up pair, but where stolen in about 2015. I think the Ray-Ban Aviators are the best looking sunglasses on the planet! Please reply. Dave...

This is intended as a compliment. I finally found someone more autistic about sunglasses then me. Every 3 months I Find myself buying a new pair of prescription glasses and I end up watching your reviews. Thank you for not being that fake KZbin excited happy when you review glasses. I just bought prescription 2140 wayfarers with the Orange flash polarized lenses. Well Done again. Protip not many people know. When you buy RX-ray-bans they come in a special never hide box and have laser etched Letters in a circle on the inside lenses right in the middle. It's not enough to have the RB on the sides they have to have the lenses labeled on the inside too.
