Thanks for doing this review! I need to use a RayBan/LensCrafters F&F 50% coupon in the next two months, would bring these to a good price, and would be something different for sure! I really like the photo stripped blue and ‘light blue’ which to me looks clear. 🤷‍♂️

I already buy one from optometrist but dont say made in italy. Only mention made in china. So mine is fake or have made in china version? The boxes and labels seem legit, have luxotica group stickers

If the frame words "made in italy" is italy, it is the key, coz rayban there is italy made and china made under luxxotica

RAY-BAN'S WAYFAIR used make them in 55mm how ever I don't trust LUXOTTICA CORPORATION products at all. And the old RAY-BAN'S back in the 80's &90’s 😢

They still do make them in 55 and 58, just not yet in this color changing series. Even the Meta Wayfarer’s come in 50 and 55mm. However the fact the Classic’s cost more than ever before, and have been steadily dropping in quality/QC for the past 25 yeas makes it more enticing than ever for consumers to jump ship to something like American Optical, Maui Jim, Randolph or the like.

You missed one important thing. You showed that they will change from indoor to outdoor quickly but what about the change back? Do they change back in like two minutes or is it more of 10+ minutes? The biggest problem with photo-chromatic frames would be those times you dine outdoors and have the half UV exposure across the face. Not sure I would want to the frames to be unevenly transitioned for a long period.
