Thank you once again. We are learning about so many new places to explore. I Loved the "Mlk lady" video. I worked with a lovely coleague who lent me the Manx Murders book and seeing you explore the paths was awsome. That one of the last man executed was very good. Very sad but very intersesting. Thanks you two

I've been on that beach. 2008. Tide was in quite a bit more. Walked around on the back roads past the farms up there (Bretny to Polly Road) and found our way to the beach access. Met some Loaghtan sheep and some Norwegian (?) farmers working to preserve the breed. If you read the inscriptions on the Jurby grave stones from WW2 you figure out that there are entire crews of aircraft buried there together who all died on the same day. Funny that, Piercy was designated as the only person to die in WW2 FROM Jurby yet the graveyard is full of gravestones of men from away training at the airport who died IN Jurby and environs. We never went inside the church except for the lobby but found the echelons of graves a very sobering sight to see indeed.

I slipped down a cedar shingle barn roof fingernails searching for a hand hold. Stopped at the edge with my feet in the gutter. Over the side was a space between the two farm buildings full of black berries, burdock and nettle with farm equipment and concrete rubble sticking out here and there. I'm surprised Carla didn't get hung up in the burdock. Lovely tour of an old memory. Live and stills. Well done. I'll be back for more.

I used too as well Ian as they say the spirit these days is willing but the old body thinks not.
