I worked on a production crew for this concert. I got to shake Ray's hand. He refused to play until the check was in his hand.. lol! He's been around the block a time or two I imagine! Great show!

@@adrianveseli3379 I was introduced by my boss Tom Durell owner of the company I worked for "DuTel". Ray thanked me for the help with the phone system which we installed prior to the show. While I was engaged in conversation, I overheard Ray tell production that he "would not play until the check was in hand". Interesting back story on that. Because Ray is blind and venue owners are not all trustworthy, he used to insist on being paid with $1.00 bills so as not to get burned. That's all I have, It was a treat to get to meet him.
