I WAS HERE!!! My grandparents asked me if I wanted to go to a concert, and being a violinist I agreed of course. What they didn't tell me was it would be THE Ray Chen playing, and the whole concert was so amazing. Amazing, amazing show and I'm so lucky to have seen him live.

I love everything about the Hollywood Bowl except one thing...the sacrilegious clapping in between movements and in the middle of the encore. I watched this on the live stream but I got to say, 4:45 to 4:55 was hilarious

I think it would be a long shot for himself to do it. These variations on a theme generally are built up over time and the notes are solidly in the performer's head, so it's sort of one of those pieces that's quite personal and might not be put to paper for us. However if it is in THAT much demand and/or a publishing company offers up some money to the creator then the public may get something. Just my two cents (actually I wrote quite a lot, so maybe my two dollars haha).
