Dear Ray and Living Waters team, Do you have an appropriate video ready in case king Charles’ coronation goes wonky, and he becomes the ‘defender of the faithS’, or something like that? I hope so. Such an understatement!! I watch in utter shock & disbelief at what so many of these well known ppl are "teaching"! It truly reveals those who've not been given the GIFT of discernment, bc they clearly do not know the truth!! Which leads us to wonder "why" they haven't received it & what is seperating them from receiving the gift of discernment... What do they truly "believe".... bc its clearly not the word of GOD!! So then WHY are they even at the pulpit, bc they are too blind to see that they themselves are being used by satan as we speak to blind even more!! Thank you Jesus for your child Ray Comfort & using his voice to share the truth with the world & may this video find millions!!!

Charles never rebuked his son's false teaching and he should have. Charles took his son on his teaching cruises and was a member of AS board. It's tragic that CS didn't stand up for the truth of GOD's word.

@@chriswilson7411 How so? He's saying repentance isn't about sin, that the Bible is a house of cards and that it's not scientific (which it isn't a science book but has science in it and modern archeology to back it up). How is that not diminishing and rebuking the very Word of God?

An audience is more descriptive to people watching a show or theater which is exactly what they are doing here as he performs his heresy. A congregation would hold him accountable and they are not. They are passive with no conviction or will to defend the Word of God against this false teacher.

Ray comfort is a false teacher who teaches a works based salvation. That you must “turn from sin” to be saved. No where in the Bible does it say this. Jonah 3:10 describes turning from sin as working. You are choosing to deny evil & choosing to follow the law. BY THE DEEDS OF THE LAW SHALL NO FLESH BE JUSTIFIED. Also he says repenting is “turning from sin” which is completely unbiblical it’s a change of mind. God repented 35x in the Bible, did he sin? No. Repentance is a change of mind on what you believe. To go from unbelief to belief. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

The old man wasn't bad but he was one those Baptists who believed you couldn't be saved if you smoked cigarettes or drank alcohol. (I don't do either.) But that is totally unbiblical. On a side note I couldn't stand to listen to him any more because of his irritating habit of telling me to "listen" 10 times in a sermon when I was already listening. As for his son I have always thought he was way too full of himself. And now he has gone off the deep end.

I’m sorry Ray but there are debates between Christians who are scientists such as the Counterpoints book “Four Views On Creation, Evolution and Intelligent Design”. Not everyone has a scientific disposition so there is a spectrum of abilities and we have to let people find a position they feel comfortable with. Just because you may feel a literal 6 day creation is the right interpretation of the bible, that may not satisfy people who are more scientific than yourself - and dare I say it more intellectually gifted than you are. Both the Catholic Church and the Church of England (and many other Protestants) acknowledge the theory of evolution which have real scholarship behind them that I doubt you have to back up your own take on things. You may actually be hindering some people who have cognitive conflict when people like you insist they interpret the bible the same way if they are to be “true” Christians. We cannot afford to be lazy in our theology by thinking we can just spout out pseudo-logical statements. That is how the Arian heresy occurred which split the church almost down the middle for a while until the Athanasian view of the Trinity became the orthodox view.

I am praying that he leaves the ministry and only comes back to any use of his teaching "gifts" with a change of heart. Under no circumstances should such a sophist and double-tongued weasel stay in the ministry. He should leave and it is very doubtful he should ever return.

AMEN Prayer changes people and circumstances. People Who call people wolves in sheep clothing need to get on their own knees seek forgiveness for judging and not praying for the people. They all need Jesus like the rest of us. I had someone make that remark about wolves in sheep clothing I just pray for them that they can learn to LOVE as CHRIST LOVES US not slander, gossip, and try to play God. Sometimes people don’t get the whole story before they jump out lashing at people. Don’t say oh I don’t we all do it. I have learned over the years to pray for the individual that is saying that as well as the person they are lashing out at. Because you just do not know what that person is going through plus God can use circumstances like Charles Stanley’s death to reach people! Even his own son. Dr. Charles Stanley left a legacy and was a true man of God. To downgrade him is totally wrong! Just because you may not of agreed with his preaching that man spoke the word of God and applied it. He did not judge anyone that I ever saw. We should never point fingers because you have three more pointing back at you and God Says Matthew 7:3-5 NIV 3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the dspeck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from someone else’s eye” Pray for Andy and this world period. We should be praying for so much that is happening in this world and that God will help us to LOVE each other as HE LOVES US THE CHURCH! Not judging or slandering one another! That goes for all of US even MYSELF!

About 15 years ago, I heard Andy Stanley deliver a message he called "When Gracie met Truthie". In the message, he talked about how two married men in his church divorced their wives and then began a homosexual relationship with each other. These men wanted to serve in ministry within Andy's church but were told that they couldn't until they were married. They were also told that they were living in sin because they weren't married (to each other!). At the end of the message, Andy Stanley described how the two gay men were now serving in ministry in his church. Since that time, the original message that is online has been edited to remove those comments. Andy Stanley is dishonest and definitely not a man of God. However, the Bible does tell us that people will surround themselves with teachers that will tickle their ears...something that Andy Stanley is very good at.

One of the man wasn’t divorced yet. Andy said they were in adultery. If they want it to serve, they should wait to the divorce to happen. The couple left his church, they got offended. A while later, this couple started to go to his church again because of the ex wife invitation. Christmas is about forgiveness, right? Well, long story short, they started to attend church together as “modern family”. The church the couple were attending after they left Andy’s church was part of Andy’s network. He blocked them from serving there while adulterous. It is so twisted, that I don’t even know how God just don’t burn us all, once and for all. He is a good God.

Yep...I left his church years ago. God gave me a weekend job in hospital and I worked every F-Sn for 6 years. Thats when I started reading my bible . Alot. The more I read it, the more I could see the false gospel. I never looked back. His Dad however, I had great respect for.

@C4Caffeen no I am a sinner. I will have to give account for all my words, deeds, actions on Judgement Day. I won't have the sin of killing Gods' gifts of babies via abortion (have never once voted for a democrat who are all for abortion & never had an abortion), & I won't be have misleading my fellow human beings away from the truth. Although my righteousness is as filthy rags-thats 2 of the sins/transgressions that I haven't done. I really don't understand how someone can claim to be a Christian and deny The Holy Bible. (I do use only KJV & do have to look up words & I don't understand all of The Holy Bible though. Not for lack of trying.) There are those who appear to have the form of godliness but their heart is far from God & we are told "...from such turn away...". I am more sad than angry, though.

Back in the history of US when we were moral? We were enslaving blacks, murdering Native Americans and then instituting Jim Crow when slavery fell (reluctantly). I was so excited to see Andy Stanley finally on TV. My first experience of watching him on TV was with my best friend. We were in his sermon only 10 minutes and I asked my friend, "So, do you want to watch it?" She replied, "No thank you. He hasn't mentioned Jesus one time." He's definitely not his dad, Dr. Charles Stanley. We were very disappointed. We can only pray Andy will return to the foundation his dad built in his young life. Amen?

OSAS- 3 verses in the Bible say your name can be blotted out of the book of life; Psalm 69:28, revelation 3:5, 22:19! Never receiving Jesus is not the only way to go to hell Says Matthew 7:21-23 ; verse 23 ‘away from me I never knew you’ does not apply to everybody, Jesus says this twice in verses 21 and 22! “Not everyone will say to me (on that day)……., yes many will say…..” If OSAS was true he would’ve said “everyone and all” instead of “not everyone and Many”! So not everyone will go to hell based on never knowing Jesus, and other verses will back this up as well! you can no longer use Matthew 7:23 or say they were never saved to begin with! Same with 2 Peter 2 “after knowing the Lord, they went back into their vomit as a dog or back into the mud as a pig wallowing in the mud”. The word ‘knowing’ is the same word in Matthew 7:23, it’s ‘ginosko’ in the Greek- it’s a salvific relationship with Jesus! So you can lose your salvation, says this verse as well! 2 Peter 2:20 “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning!” THEY ARE ENTANGLED IN THE CORRUPTION OF THE WORLD…AGAIN- says this verse! Jude 12 - “twice dead”; Dead in sin, born again, dead again! And there’s many more; Revelation chapters 2 & 3 are full of ultimatums and all Jesus is focused on is our works! Revelation 2: 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place! Revelation 2:14 there are some among you….. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. These are just 2 and Jesus says “he who overcomes” , Overcomes is present - future tense, and Jesus says this to all 7 churches even the 2 good ones! You have to stay faithful to the end of your life to go to heaven! John 3:16 is he who continues to believe will have eternal life! it doesn’t say ‘believed’ past tense, you have to maintain your faith to go to heaven! The Greek word ‘believes’ is ‘Pistis’ which basically means faithfulness so faith equals faithfulness, according to the Bible! So if you have problems with this, then you have problems with the word of God, the Bible! You need to study these passages so that you can make it to heaven! If your pastor cannot answer these questions according to what I just said, then you need to leave that church!

You have no idea what Charles Stanley said or didn't say to his son, which, by the way, the Lord commands to be done first in *private* (Matthew 18:15-20). Further, you seem to believe the mistaken idea that God is going to judge Dr. Stanley for his *son's* false teachings, when there is no biblical justification for that belief whatsoever. Thankfully, what God HAS actually said in Scripture is this: "The son shall not be punished for his father's sins, nor the father for his son's" (Ezekiel 18:20). Dr. Stanley, in sharp contrast to Andy, was a faithful teacher and defender of the inerrancy and supreme authority of God's Word for 67 years, and the only words Dr. Stanley heard yesterday morning when receiving the *ultimate* reward of meeting his Lord and Savior face to face were "Well done, good and faithful servant."

As a student, you would want to learn from someone who has the knowledge and experience to help you as you learn and grow in the subject. The same holds true for a spiritual teacher. Spiritual teachers should be "rightly handling the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). They need to know what God's Word says and be able to accurately convey that to others. But spiritual teachers do not just disseminate knowledge, they should exemplify what it looks like to "observe all that [Christ has] commanded [us]" (Matthew 28:20). God has given certain people the spiritual gift to teach and He intends for them to steward that gift for the purpose of advancing His kingdom (Ephesians 4:11-12; Romans 12:6-8; 2 Timothy 4:2). Teaching is not intended as a means to manipulate others to serve oneself. Rather, teachers should generously serve others and help them to grow in their faith and knowledge of Christ and what it means to follow Him (Galatians 5:13). The position of teacher is not one to be taken lightly. Teachers need to walk above reproach and not use their position for personal gain (1 Timothy 6:5). Unfortunately, there are false teachers who may be "having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power" (2 Timothy 3:5; see also 2 Timothy 4:3-4). When listening to a Christian teacher, observe the fruit of the Spirit present in their lives and ministry. Does their teaching line up with the Word of God? All that is false will one day be exposed (2 Timothy 3:8-9). Rather than just filling a vacancy with someone who is available, it is important for church leadership to seek God for wisdom on whom to trust with an open leadership role within the body. For both the teacher and for the church, it is important to have leadership in place who have a proven track record of godly character and good stewardship of their God-given gifts, especially knowing that they will be judged more strictly according to James 3:1. @@KevinNordstromits that way now, trust me. We live in a small town. Cant find a proper church. Witten to a select few on youtube. Dropped Andy years ago along with some others. We tried for 5 or 6 years to be accepted and part of and helpers in the church. We got to help very little. Made no real friends. Never felt loved. Now all that is left is these young generation churches, southern Baptist which fell off the rails, those who believe you can lose your salvation and Jehovahs witness and Methodist. In the small city 25 miles away are some mega churches and being a 50 mile round trip with our health and hubby having to get up between 1 am and 3 am for work, we would never get to do night services even if we did find one over there. Our oldchuch nowhas the kids grown up formed a band, put been lights behind them...turned me away when I called begging for help( not even financial) . Havent heard a word back though I pleaded for pastor or wife to call me the next day since they were busy with company. I Miss our old church where I felt the presence of God and people were starting to accept us and we were even married there. That was near Houston and the church is gone. Its Hispanic now. And Houston is a shooting range. So we listen to our few preachers. And drop them as we see fit. Can't seem to find anything but professing Christians. And we live in a tiny house so we can't start a home church. Pray for us please.

i could not trust the bible when i knew Evolution was True and the earth was billions of years old! Thats untill i watched Evolution vs God when i was 29 years old and now i can Trust the Word of God Ive tasted what the world had to offer it made me sick with depresion,anxiety,addiction and utter hopelessness but when i heard the Gospel in Rays KZbin videos i was saved not long after and now im Free! no more depresion,anxiety,addiction and i have an eternal Hope and Joy/bliss in Jesus Christ my Saviour and God Who the Son sets free is free indeed! @@Jeremiah17910 although your anger comes from a place of righteousness and that's is perfectly justified, We are not to seek vengeance.. for this is God's alone!!.. because only He is the position to Judge as He alone is sinless.. As Jesus said, we are to pray for our enemies and even do good onto them.. This is how good rises above evil that we do not respond in the same manner as evil does...but the path of love and forgiveness, we follow the path of God. We are to show the world a different way to respond to evil we are to be the light in the darkness of this world. The apostle Paul warns us not to fall into sin when we confront or rebuke evil, that we are to be firm but gentle, That we should warn people about their sins but don't stop there...we should also offer them the solution to their sins.. Jesus Christ Whom is greater than all sin and can forgive all sin and since as Christians we know this to be the truth. Then we know there is hope for all sinners and none have to perish. And for this very reason, we should always encourage that sinners seek Jesus and not pray they die in their sins.. as this in itself would be sinful and evil. God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked but rather the wicked turn from their ways and be saved.. this is why He sent His Son.

@Garry Gull people do like to disparage Ray Comfort. Still living in same house for decades. If you disagree with him that is your prerogative. I don't. I've read in The Holy Bible (I use KJV, which is what I rely on), that on Judgement Day some who really believed that they were Christians will be cast into hell. They will even say, "...Lord we cast out demons in your name...", and The Lord Jesus Christ response is "...depart from Me ye workers of iniquity. I knew ye not...". Also verses stating people who give the appearance of godliness nut their heart is far from Him. Ray Comfort is simply pleading with people to have a relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ, following the mandate for all Christians to spread The Gospel a.k.a. The Great Commission. Thank you for concern. I have been reading The Holy Bible for 50+ years. I don't see Ray Comfort as misrepresenting/misleading what The Holy Bible says. Although I freely & openly acknowledge that only The Lord Jesus Christ knows who is and isn't saved, He even states that those who belong to Him will hear His voice. I also try very hard not to say harsh words against anyone who may be a Man of God, a Preacher, Pastor, etc because I know that immediate punishment came to the children who mocked Elijah, a Man of God.

I did see an interview on KZbin somewhere that Charles S (may he RIP) made recently where he spoke about one of his grandsons that he has hope for being a true pastor in his future. The video takes his points out of context. I've yet to see a video that doesn't unintentionally (or intentionally) take Andy's sermon clips out of context and argue against points he doesn't make. It's like it has become a trend among the American Pharisee's of which Ray usually isn't a part. He caught the virus this time though. It'll pass. God have mercy on Ray for this.

No he has Andy preach on his cruises, but Charles Stanley was also a false teacher , here’s why: OSAS- 3 verses in the Bible say your name can be blotted out of the book of life; Psalm 69:28, revelation 3:5, 22:19! Never receiving Jesus is not the only way to go to hell Says Matthew 7:21-23 ; verse 23 ‘away from me I never knew you’ does not apply to everybody, Jesus says this twice in verses 21 and 22! “Not everyone will say to me (on that day)……., yes many will say…..” If OSAS was true he would’ve said “everyone and all” instead of “not everyone and Many”! So not everyone will go to hell based on never knowing Jesus, and other verses will back this up as well! you can no longer use Matthew 7:23 or say they were never saved to begin with! Same with 2 Peter 2 “after knowing the Lord, they went back into their vomit as a dog or back into the mud as a pig wallowing in the mud”. The word ‘knowing’ is the same word in Matthew 7:23, it’s ‘ginosko’ in the Greek- it’s a salvific relationship with Jesus! So you can lose your salvation, says this verse as well! 2 Peter 2:20 “If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning!” THEY ARE ENTANGLED IN THE CORRUPTION OF THE WORLD…AGAIN- says this verse! Jude 12 - “twice dead”; Dead in sin, born again, dead again! And there’s many more; Revelation chapters 2 & 3 are full of ultimatums and all Jesus is focused on is our works! Revelation 2: 5 Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place! Revelation 2:14 there are some among you….. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. These are just 2 and Jesus says “he who overcomes” , Overcomes is present - future tense, and Jesus says this to all 7 churches even the 2 good ones! You have to stay faithful to the end of your life to go to heaven! John 3:16 is he who continues to believe will have eternal life! it doesn’t say ‘believed’ past tense, you have to maintain your faith to go to heaven! The Greek word ‘believes’ is ‘Pistis’ which basically means faithfulness so faith equals faithfulness, according to the Bible! So if you have problems with this, then you have problems with the word of God, the Bible! You need to study these passages so that you can make it to heaven! If your pastor cannot answer these questions according to what I just said, then you need to leave that church!

You are right. I had access to a gun at 5 and was taught to shoot as it was just my grandma and me. Im 59. I never once even thought of shooting anyone but someone who tried to break in. My guns have never gotten up and went and shot anyone. Well-behaved I guess. But I had tastes of church and the bible by other people through my childhood and was saved later. I wasnotbrought up in a Christian home. I was picked on in school. Molested by two old men. And ran wild as a teen. But still, never considered shooting any of them. It crossed my mind once in my late 20s over being cheated on . But I said it's not worth prison and I knew God was against it. So I put it out of my mind. I carried mine in my purse everywhere for protection. I had been raped by my friends boyfriend ,thats how I lost my virginity. And was raped by a stranger with a knife at 16. I wouldnt leave the house for a year to speak of. I didnt think I was traumatized just afraid he would find me. But I can see all those things have given me ptsd all my life along with other catastrophes and losses. But still I'm not shooting anyone. I dont want to ever have to. I dread the thought. But at least I'm out of the city now. And I am trusting God to protect me. At least the 16 year old incident straightened me up put of most of my wild ways back then and now I am anything but wild. God used it for good ! Now I am saved and though I have much less in many areas of my life than I once did. I am better off with my Lord and my husband . 😊

Sir. Ray your ministry has been a great help to me the moment God gave your ministry to me, I learned biblical truth, how to grow in faith, wisdom, and especially reaching out to the lost. I am a young Filipino boy who prays to have a Church and to tell them about your ministry and to to have them to be partners with your ministry. That's why I also hope that you'll have an ambassador here in the Philippines to be our representative and contact to you. For as I know there's no contact between your ministry to the Philippines; we can't have access to your book, your tracts, and be able to translate it on our own language where everyone can read it; educated nor uneducated. But sadly I am still 18, still studying, and dependent to my parents, whom are against me being involved in a church and preaching the gospels. Your prayers for me will be a great help.

Maybe you can go to one of his meetings. He is from Israel but becamea Christian. His videos are wonderful. Philippines is Amir's favorite country i believe he said once. I wonder about your country. As an American i wonder if it is better there. You could start out with 2 or 3 friends who are believers and do studies in the bible together. Amir has a store and may have books and videos online in your language. He is on youtube. I spelled it correctly for you. God blessyour efforts. I’ve known for a long time now that Andy Stanley is a false teacher. I remember one day watching his show on Daystar, and he began to refute biblical truths, I shut him off for good. I can’t believe that he strayed so far from the teachings that his father taught so eloquently. I met Dr. Stanley in person at one of his visits to my hometown, and it was a true privilege.

I have always wondered if he ever tried to talk to him or denounce Andy's teachings in public. He really should have. I think the divorce made him turn from God and his dad and Truth. I have a 39 year old step son going through major marital problems who never got over his mom and dad divorcing. He married a girl into Wiccan. They were goth. And as tge years went by tgey got deeper into darkness. He is now a Satanist. Lots of hurt and anger and brainwashing in that. The enemy has them both . I would appreciate prayers for them and the wife's daughter. She has lots of problems.
