I hope Malayalam keeps giving women acting roles going forward as did before than using them for their body like other states and some other movies bringing in out of state women and making granddaughter age women work with older men. I cry every time i watch ente veedu appuntem.. I was just 8 years old when that movie released and still remember how badly i cried watching it in theatre. “പ്രസവിച്ചാലേ അമ്മയാവൂ എന്നില്ല.. പ്രസവിച്ചത് കൊണ്ട് മാത്രം അമ്മയാവണം എന്നും ഇല്ല ” this dialog hits so hard.. “പക വീട്ടാം എന്ന് മാത്രം പറയരുത് ” saying a step mother to the real father..
