Hell yeah red, I agree. Glad he got his ring, I just wish the league didn't screw his brother fitz out of a ring against the steelers. We've all seen those close up of Santonios td and that 2nd foot never touched turf, plus way back on the first play of that final drive the steelers center should have been called for holding in the endzone, safety, cards ball back with a 5 point lead. I dont hate the steelers and I dont love the cards, I just really wanted fitz to get the ring he deserved

To me this was the day we finally let the Colts go. As someone who was a kid in the 70s and a teenager in the 80s....I can tell you the Colts were a beloved franchise here in Baltimore. It was so so bitter when they left. And the war Paul Tagliabue waged against our town when we were trying to get a new team. Thank you to Art Modell for bringing us that great spirit of Football back to my hometown. RavensNation forever.

Andrew hate the Irsays not the colts! If it’s any consolation, even colts fans hate the Irsays. Not to mention you guys fucked over Cleveland, and they’re not as petty as you
@matrixphijr
@matrixphijr 4 жыл бұрын
@@jwhine Okay, don't take this personally, but I really hate people comparing the Colts situation and the Ravens/Browns situation. The two are nothing alike. First of all, the Colts just up and left. Snuck out in the middle of the night, actually, with the help of an Indianapolis-based moving company owned by one of Irsay's good friends, with the trucks all taking different routes to Indiana so they couldn't be stopped by police. How fucking slimy is that? Not to mention that Irsay repeatedly lied during negotiations with the city for a new stadium, having countless times told reporters, "I'm not moving the team. No way." Apparently the guy didn't like the deal he was offered, but instead of saying so, or actually trying to negotiate, he kept all that a secret and just decided to leave. In addition, all of the Colts history in Baltimore now belongs to the city of Indianapolis, because of what Irsay did (team history stays with the team), which is complete bullshit. Johnny Unitas, one of the greatest QBs in NFL history, had to forcibly cut ties with the Colts just to keep his own personal history from belonging to Indy. However, his #19 jersey remains retired in Indianapolis's Hall of Fame, and the NFL's Hall of Fame in Canton has never accepted his request to either remove his display or change it to belonging to the _Baltimore_ Colts. All of that history is essentially gone from Baltimore now, including the three NFL championship wins and one Super Bowl win. The Browns, however, were somewhat forced into moving out of Cleveland, as their stadium was deemed unfit to play in. The city had already moved the Indians out and given them a new stadium, which had cost Modell millions in revenue, and had also built a brand new arena for the Cleveland Cavaliers, as well. Modell asked to be included in that, since the city had already done so for its other two teams, but the city refused, unless Modell would cover the expense himself (something he could not afford at the time). Whether you believe owners should be more responsible for the costs of stadiums and such themselves (which I personally do), you have to admit it would be a slap in the face for your city or town to tell your neighbors they're getting brand new homes for free while excluding you. Despite that, though, Modell didn't just up and leave. He tried to negotiate a stadium deal with the city, but they refused to budge. He then announced (publicly) his intention to move the team. After a lengthy court battle ensued, the NFL, Cleveland, and Modell came to a settlement that included the city of Cleveland keeping all rights to the franchise and its history (something Irsay did not do), in exchange for Modell being "released" from his current ties to the city and given a new (expansion, technically) franchise in Baltimore. That is literally the reason why the Cleveland Browns exist today, and why such greats as Jim Brown and Otto Graham are enshrined in Cleveland's Hall of Fame and not Baltimore's. Yet Cleveland still despises Modell. I don't think I'll understand it til the day I die.

It's always cool to see stuff like this. Sadly, by the end of Lewis' career he was mostly coasting on reputation and his name. I remember some games in his last couple years where he would get in on tackles/sacks but he'd be the 2nd guy to get involved in it and the announcers would still give him props like he was the main disruptive force. Still, he did show some flashes of the Lewis of old.
@cokekola8477

He was still a top mlb until his last year which he missed games and like this game had a torn tricep. He was obviously slower than his prime. Ray would always hit a guy even if his teammates already had him down, he just always wanted to hit. But I’m not going to believe in a 1v1 he wasn’t going to bring the guy down.

I wish Ray Rice didn't decide to punch his girl in plain view of a camera... or at all, you know what I mean. He would have been an all-time Ravens best RB if he spent the rest of his career in Baltimore. He was a great running and ever better receiving RB. In his 6 seasons, he only had 2 that weren't 1,000 yards - 6,180 yards in 6 years - 37 Rushing TD's - 261 rushing first downs - 3034 receiving yards - 129 receiving first downs In 4 straight seasons, he had: - 1339 - 1220 - 1364 - 1143 1000+ yards in 4 straight years is pretty damn good. The Ravens Are historically known for a tough and scary defense. Even if they were bad or good they were scary. Did huge hits, Scream in ur face, Scream and terrify. These type of players win you football games to make the other football team frighten and rumble.

The 2012 Baltimore Ravens had a great SuperBowl Champion Playoffs Run. They beat Andrew Luck & Indianapolis Colts, they beat Peyton Manning & the Denver Broncos, they beat Tom Brady & the New Patriots, &, they beat Colin Kaepernick & the San Francisco 49ers in the SuperBowl.
