Rosa Parks started with an "individual" action too. Same with the street vendor who sparked the Tunisian revolution, which sparked the Arab Springs. Look at the NFL now, where the entire Seahawks team may refuse to stand for the anthem. Look at athletes in other sports who have followed Kaepernick's example. Look at the national conversation he started with his simple, individual action. I did not know that there was a third verse to the national anthem that celebrates the death of slaves before his individual action.

It's too bad he's not affecting that much change in the neighborhood that molded and made him Kathleen/Lakeland FL. I love Ray's fire. watched him wrestle in the state finals his senior year and watched him ball in little ole Kathleen HS. I love everything he does for whatever community, but one thing I see is he doesn't give back to his original community anything like what he does in all these other places he spoke of.
