I really like Rays programs he always adds in some history as well as the bushcraft my father would collect razer Clams with my brother and i we would cook them up and eat them fresh on the beach

Back in the sixties when camping with the scouts we would mix some dough put it in a biscuit tin and bury it in the ground go out for the day and when we came back the bread was cooked

This is almost identical to Rick Stein's "Clam Bay", an early BBC video of his where he took his staff on a day out to the seaside and he did virtually the same thing but on a bigger scale (clams, crabs, lobsters and everything imaginable) and, of course, the staff loved the delicious culinary offering.

These programs are from 2004-2005 so the recent sewage dumping by the Tories and their water company chums doesn't apply here.

Cooking fish is shit it stinks. Most isn’t filleted properly or stored properly and it takes years to learn it’s basically ruined as soon as it’s stored on ice.
