A great series, I liked the way they didn't edit out things that didn't work and their experimentation, a nice change from hearing the standard bush craft/survival mantras being churned out by someone trying to sell you something.

In the United States, we have a barbeque with hogs and we use hickory wood or oak wood in a pit. When the hog is cooked with hickory or oak it adds a flavor to it. The body of the hog, before roasting, is rubbed with a mustard based barbeque sauce. The sauce is usually a secret mixture. When the pork is thoroughly cooked, you can literally pull the pork right off the hog. The whole hog is used for a large group of people, and we use everything from the hog.
