Because Ginger and Ray are top notch actors this type of comedy worked. I like to think of it as a drama with a lighter side. Again you did a wonderful job. You can see what a tremendous range Ginger has in this movie as she changes from a child of twelve to a grown woman and everything between with ease. Thanks.

I love this. This movie is 1 of the reasons I fell in love with ginger Rogers. only to have discovered that she had died 12 years earlier. but anyway she single up there in heaven somewhere. great video I love the montage and the song that you chose. love this :D the song fits great, was watching ginger closely in this compared to the boys at the academy and lucy hill and while she is obviously older than them especially lucy who is actually 12 she doesn't look much older than about 18!!

Hey Lauren.. I have commented before on this video you made. But I saw this film again last night and it's still one of my favorite films. I remembered your video last night while watching on The Major & The Minor on TCM and I remembered how great your edits were and the song that you chose. It is perfect. I am also a video editor and I really commend you for this work.. you did an excellent job on everything - the music, your cuts, the timing of your cuts, and the selection of your clips. You really did capture the essence of this movie and you told the story with clips that were relevant. Again, your cuts are excellent and I am proud that you value these types of movies especially this one, like I do, to be something worth working with creatively like this. I have watched your video thousands of times and sometimes times I cry because I love it so much. Great job!! Keep up the great work. I hate how KZbin is polluted with these "tribute" videos. All we want to see is snippets of the original, not this junk. I suspect that the copyright owners are doing this. I like to get real clips to share with people to spread the word about great cinema. But finding such clips is getting to be impossible due to all this crap.
