When I was a teenager, I was more into the 90's country at the time (still am), and I would turn the channel (from TNN) when these guys would come on. Now in my 40's, I really wished I had stopped to pay attention to the music that my grandparents and my parents so loved to watch on that show Bill Anderson hosted. These days, I listen mostly to the classics that my dad and grandparents listened to- REAL country music.

Same here, I just helped my mom clean out their basement. I dug out my dad's record collection and his old Sony reel to reel player. Turns out we have the same taste in country- or you could say he played it a lot before I could remember or cared to know who he was playing. Lots of Waylon, Merle, George, Johnny Cash.....
