Ray Sharkey he was brilliant as the manager in the Idolmaker. Seems wound up here. He also starred. As Sonny Steelgrave in Wise Guy with Ken Wahl. He had a few brilliant performances but drugs did him in.

No. He allegedly had sex with close to 100 women, potentially exposing them to HIV. Only a few are thought to have actually contracted the HIV virus after sleeping with Sharkey. Last I heard, his most prominent accuser is still living with HIV but hasn't developed AIDS.

@@UMAMIMAMU depends on how you look at it,if you leave out the side where John Belushi wakes up out of the body bag in the morgue and is being picked up by some angel of death in a cab , keep the flashbacks and make it more about Bob Woodward traveling around interviewing friends and family,then it could've been a descent bio pic. Instead they have us what looks like a modern day tragic comedy.

@@bluestate69 Actually, re-watching it, it's not quite as bad as my earlier "review". The guy has a lot of heart. The monolog actually could have been pretty good with a bit of tweaking.
