This song goes back at least 40 years; I remember listening to it on stations like WMAQ out of Chicago. How I long for the good old days of country music.

The Shriner's here in Southeastern Iowa (Iowa City, etc.) When they have parades ride those mini- motorcycles. They get around & into more places on the little bikes, than those "bigguns!" My favorite songs of his are "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival, " & The Streak!"

Lo❤ve your songs. Been listening for a while as I enjoyed the outside weather. I love your version of the streak in Oklahoma City with the green suit on. Would you post on FB.

Definitely and edited version, but still an old favorite, Coy actually gets Black Balled in the longer version.🙂😂🤣😅🙃😆🤪 another favorite was FreddyFeelGood and his Funky little 5 piece Band. He is an Awesome talent and still doing shows. The world is a happier place with Ray being on it.

My grandparent's bought me the 'Ray Stevens Live!' VHS in 1993 which is where this comes from. When I asked them to buy it for me they thought it was in a video store or a shopping store. The commercials weren't airing on the television channels they were watching, apparently. I told them it could only be purchased by either calling a telephone number or mailing a check or money order to an address. The next time I seen a commercial for it I wrote down the telephone number. The previous year, for Christmas, I asked for Ray's 'Comedy Video Classics' VHS.

@@NicholasThrasher-ev8xe I've been a fan since the mid 1980s. Ray has a new comedy song out called "The Boom-Boom Gentlemen's Club". If you search KZbin you'll find it. It's an audio track of a song from an album that'll come out later this year or perhaps very early next year. In the new song he introduces some new characters named Ida and Dakota. I don't know if he'll make a music video of it or not.
