nothing reckless about it ive seen the video evidence, he pointed the gun at the guys head and shot him then got dragged, not the other way round ... put this on trial in my country he'd be locked up in less than 5 mins.

does this officer get his job back??
@zigzag71944 жыл бұрын
I think he did. If I'm not wrong I've seen him in another video opening a car door with 2 black guys but they gave him what for. And nearly made him cry. After one of the black guy phoned for a supervisor. Basically tensing did everything wrong. And got his butt handed to him

Thank God karma can not be corrupt like the judicial system is, one day karma will make sure this murderer will pay for the pain to the family of Debose.

Reckless or not, it was intentional,but the threat didn't warrant the accused to do what he did.

This seems like a very serious issue you better factor closely if your a defense attorney. On one side you are keeping out an option of an additional charge that can send your client to prison. On the other hand not giving a jury another option of a lesser charge especially when it carries much much less prison time (the difference between about 13yrs up to possible life if it's found as murder vs about 18 months) can be a double edge sword if a jury is determined to convict and you don't give them any choice but to convict for long term. This is a very high level game of be very careful what you wish for.

What's your thought process as it pertains to the prosecution appearing to "draw straws" for a lack of better explanation? In reviewing Ohio criminal code, I feel, homicide is no where close to the specific fact pattern in this case. Voluntary Manslaughter, perhaps. As just an outsider with only a graduate degree in Constitutional Law I'd personally even struggle with that. Which is why I believe the prosecution is now trying to add an even lesser charge much more simple to meet the burden of the state.

i dont understand what the problem is & why its being made so complicated! its seems plain as day to me. he fked up and shot an innocent man and added misery to mistake by lying and trying to make his situation seem way more dramatic than it really was. im sick to death of seeing cops do this and get off. it sends a bad message to other cops that its ok, which is why i think were seeing more of this every day! this is also a perfect example of what ive said a thousand times that, while a lot of cops may have the skills, they lack the right mentality or approach in things like this. i also think that they shouldnt be allowed to work in their hometown or county where they grew up either! ive several reasons for this but a lot of it has to do with lessening the chances of partiality.

This Judge I believe already premeditated this verdict of being NOT GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES from the beginning of this trail. He already knew he was never gonna put this cop in Jail., No matter what, and for whatever reason he had. Maybe he feel so much pitty for this sorry looking boy, that reminds the Judge of his own son or grandson. Thats my opinion. Because he's obvious Guilty of some kind of murder for what he did, and then lied & said he was dragged. Thats bull crap, and everyone knows that. I believe he just panicked and didn't want Sam to flee from him, and shot to quick by mistake, and had to come up with this dragging bs. like they always do, &i say they thought they was gonna die some how.to cover up the murder. It works everytime. They don't really care about that blackman death.

The video when taken apart frame by frame shows the cop was dragged almost 35 feet and ended up on his ass. He was definitely justified in shooting.

you obviously havent watched the video! He was not dragged at all as fellow officers testify. Also you clearly see and hear the cop shoot Dubose and then the car moves. How does one get dragged down the street unless you are holding on! He is beside the car ffs. The car wasnt coming at him!
