AdoptABlackCat True but there was an another thing Mr. DeBose has a container with a foreign substance in it. The police officer stop that car for not having a front license plate both rent anywhere Lysholm plates are required in Ohio if they are Ohio license. I’m not taking the taken of the police officer. There was some drugs to my understanding was in the car.

Thank God where I live in Great Britain cops don't carry guns. Yet many are arrogant & make things up & lie to cover each others backs. Tonight I've just watched part 2 of a two part programme on BBC 2 called cops like us. Staffordshire police showing the work they do under pressure & cuts etc... It's all made up for the camera's in reality the police don't treat the general public in the manner they were putting across in this documentary. Like most cop programmes they are on their best behaviour because they know they will appear on tv. As for dealing with the mentally ill they should all take a special course in what to do in certain situations, not all people with mental health problems are a danger to themselves or others. Mental health problems are on the rise more & more with coronavirus many people having to self isolate things will get worse police must start treating people who are not crinimals who only have a diagnosed mental illness such as (Bipolar disorder) with a bit more respect & understanding. Ray Tensing killed that poor man outright, I've watched all the court room video's especially the forensic experts frame by frame anylisis of the officers body camera footage. Sympathys to the victims family & may he rest in peace. 🍪pocket

@Living Well With TJ No, there's a bit more to it than that! While I have no problem with a drug dealer being off the street, whether he was or not is a separate issue. Two wrongs still don't make a right! He violated policy and said so and in doing that, he caused a totally avoidable situation and a man Is dead because of it. He's purposely being overdramatic in his account of what happened in an attempt to justify his actions and sway the jury. He totally caused this. All he had to do was just let the car drive away.

Carrying almost a pound of weed in the car and other drugs the deceased was breaking the law in the state of Ohio. There’s two definite facts, 83% of the people that he has ticketed, are black(I don’t know what the percentage of black to white people there are, where this happened, but I am sure someone else does), and this seems highly excessive to me. He also lied constantly in his interviews(especially when he said in court that he never sees who is driving the cars that he stops), which is obviously a sign of guilt... And I have seen his face, in another video, what he’s like when he encounters a black man who knows the law, and who won’t be cowed by a cop, and he was acting like a petty little child, that was annoyed by someone not doing what he wanted..... This shows that he was heading for a deadly encounter to me, and his tee shirt with the southern flag on it, does seem to point towards his being a possible racist.....

In the area he was patrolling, what are the percentages of white people, black people Hispanic people, Asian people? If this area is dominated black residents then the law of math would say he would be pulling people over the were majority black. You asked the question regarding percentages and did not know but still found a way to imply the officer was racist. Good grief.

This whole thing with the Covid, and the loss of priceless historical landmarks and what is becoming of our great country is just sick. We all need to stick together as Americans before some nut decides to invade us and then where will ALL of us be??

@@johncarlson8029 don’t get it twisted...if the US was invaded by anyone with mal intent to do Americans harm, any able body American would stand in solidarity and kick ASS...we’re all still Americans and almost every household has a gun. I can't see how the jury couldn't see that he lied his ass off. He clearly violated policy and caused the outcome of this. He put himself in danger! Use of deadly force during the course of self defense states that the justification for it only extends to the point of when the threat is neutralized and stops there! So all he had to do is just stand there and let the car drive off and this wouldn't have happened. It would kinda be like if someone broke into your house and then ran away but you chased after them down the street and shot anyway.

I was in the Air Force for 24 years from 20 to 44 years old and had to maintain my WEIGHT and physical fitness standards or you would be kicked out if you failed to maintain those standards. Doesn't look like the cops have any standards whatsoever. Also, our behavior had standards and one big one was lying. You would be kicked out of the Air Force if you were a liar. Once again, doesn't seem to apply to the cops. I could go on and on, but the main thing is that we were taught that we were held to a higher standard of appearance and behavior because they would reflect on the entire Air Force. Again, doesn't look like the cops are being taught that whatsoever. Just the reverse....they are taught to lie and stick together no matter what. Meanwhile, in the Air Force we had something known as an unlawful order and unlawful behavior and it was our duty to correct any of the unlawful behavior and get rid of the slow leaks who wouldn't maintain those standards. Doesn't apply to the cops. They cover up, lie and deny, deny, deny. Perjury seems to be part of their culture and abusing their power and position is just part of their day to day operations. Lastly, it is obvious that Tensing has some deep seated prejudices and is basically a anti-social psychopath without a conscience who couldn't wait to make his first kill! Just looking at his face tells the whole story....he is a punk with the badge who should never have been given one. Just another moron with a badge is just the average standard.

Ray Tensing deserves murder charges. See this footage and notice that he fired before the victim accelerated, well before it actually moved. The car's engine could be heard revving, but the shot was fired before it actually moved. The officer could have called it in with full description for other units to take. This officer was a rookie, or acted like a rookie with lack of training. I am a Marine vet and would never had made this mistake.

Hard to say without being in the situation. He would not have had to be dragged very far to suffer serious injury and death. The car just started to roll is what I understand, but it doesn't take much to do serious harm to someone being dragged. If the cop waited much longer he would have been unable to stop the guy. In this case the body cam caught it all, but I was disturbed to learn that the local police department is in control of that footage. I think it should be a third party, non-interested party, that should be involved in collecting body cam footage, as well as decryption of that footage and storing that footage. The local police should have no access to turn off the camera or access to the footage.

If he was being dragged as he said , the bullet should be going up left to right , not the other way around. , the coroner said the bullet went down from left to right down through his jaw ? Why are they not asking this question ? They asked specifically if his feet left the ground. For the bullet to have traveled as it did this cop had to be standing above the driver.

If You are left-handed which side would you holster your firearm? On your left...right? But your left arm is trapped, So how are you going to be able to draw your weapon ??

Imagine a punishment of death for the crime of not having a front license plate on a vehicle you borrowed. You hope that such a well educated officer could do a proper job, but clearly they worry too much about victimless crimes to fill their quotas for revenue. This indicates to me that the culture of poo lice departments is responsible for this crime.

If this University officer would much better if he had hit or punch the driver but he choose to shoot him instead of waiting for backup. Unbelievable what this monster had said about the driver. This University officer shouldn’t ever had a weapon on his person. The lawsuit should have guaranteed that no Cincinnati University ever hold a gun again. Still should had waited for backup of the City Police or the Sheriff Department. The interviewers was leading the detainee while the of the Cincinnati University officer. Still if this idiot had waited for backup from the City of Cincinnati or the Sheriff Department had shown up.

I have never seen such an unprepared cop, no one coached him on what to say and not to say he should have never said he killed the man, or that he meant to kill the man, I believe he was afraid for his life but, he had an unreasonable fear from past experiences and should not have been a cop. They do not teach these cops enough self defense, that's why they rely to much on their guns. They should teach them stunt moves and ju jitsu so they wont be so trigger happy. Scared cops end up killers.
