I prefer shaders over regular RTX. For some reason, using shaders is easier on my eyes and reduces motion sickness. As for fan noise, not an issue at all for me. They hardly run.

​@@sumlittleguy I do, I'm a game dev by profession :) You can tell for sure by the poor refraction implementation on the glass in the basement. You can even see what looks to be some black pixel artefacting right at the end probably caused by the ray getting refracted between the glass too many times and getting zero'd out. From a quick glance online it seems to be closest to "Kellys RTX Vanilla Conversion" I thought it was SSR as well and the scene definitely does not do a good job of showing it off but it's raytraced for sure.

@@AntonyGoat99 you’re actually wrong. The RTX you’re referring to is only on bedrock edition and can only be used in special pre defined worlds. He is playing Java and using shaders. Probably sues ptgi. Ray tracing does NOT require an RTX card. Every GPU under the sun “can” ray trace but hardware exelerated ray tracing is much smoother. And NO RTX cards aren’t the only cards to have proper RT cores. Amd RX 7000 series has it too and it’s good enough. But seus and nvidias official Minecraft RTX aren’t optimized for amd 7000 series. So Minecraft RTX isn’t the best on most anything but RTX cards. But next time don’t comment unless you know what you’re talking about. I’ve learned that lesson many times. No. It's a built in feature of minecraft bedrock. Has been there for a while. Requirements are to have a PBR Texture pack like Defined PBR and to have a Nvidia RTX GPU, AMD RX 6000 or 7000 GPU, or an Intel Arc GPU
