I got so used to hearing Ray's voice commentating Rugby League over the years that when someone else commentates, it just doesn't sound & feel right. He always had a way with words that definitely made my imagination run wild as though I was at the game live. Thanks Ray for the memories, your incredible contribution to the sport, & Congratulations on being inducted into the Hall Of Fame. Truely deserved! Love from Papua New Guinea🇵🇬👍🙌💖

I grew up hearing his voice on most of the footy matches. I'd watch those matches as kid and his commentary complimented the excitement and the theatrics of rugby league. His voice is pure nostalgia for me so I salute you Ray Warren, thanks for the childhood memories, the adolescent memories and hopefully the many more to come. God bless you Ray Warren.

As the Grand Nephew of Frank Hyde and a ground announcer with the Dragon's and Illawarra District Rugby League, you Rab's, are the GOAT of Rugby League Commentary. The day you decide to hang up your mic will be the end of an era that will never be bettered or replaced. You have brought the enhancement to some of the great Rugby League clashes that they deserved. Thank you Ray Warren.

Never ever liked his commentary,in fact sick of all commentators.....why can't they call it like a horse race....call as it happens and unfold....not repeat,glamourised or biasly add your 2 cents....the best commentaries are those on the radio,who know the listeners are blind and want to hear only about the game,so they call it as such,instead of ego-maniacal ulterior motive commentary for personal gain and recognition.....a la over-paid and over-rated,so called media sport personalities
@Fuckthesystem-ro5wm5 жыл бұрын
Your off your fucking head! Radio callers have to call the game differently for their listeners for the very fact they can't see it like someone watching a tv. Ray Warren is not just the best footy commentator that's ever lived,he is up there with the best all round commentators in the world. You just sound arrogant 🖕
@jeymcbride86235 жыл бұрын
@@Fuckthesystem-ro5wm radio callers have to call,by discription,play by play,as it unfolds,for a listener to visualise....there call has less fake media personalities opinions and over the top Jim Carrey theatrics, trying too hard for climactic tackles and tries,wasting time with repeated player profiles,etc....radio hasn't the time for that,they understand the listener can't see and can't waste the allocated time slot,so they call more of the ACTUAL game,which I perfer,then your bumboy,idol commentators! Arrogant whose off his head.....i don't see what you and the majority see....I am past the glit and gold and the glory it brings to the privilege others....I'm for the beauty of the game and the rush it gives me...personalities and celebrities are for the arrogant and those off their heads who think nothing else matters for them and the majority,who cant see past the fake,false and ego needed to stage such events and the fake personalities behind it! All to their own....I say.....up yours, your system and your best all commentators in the World!🖕
