I recently went with my wife to see the movie, Poor Things. I knew absolutely nothing about it. It was totally mesmeric, particularly having no idea what it was about or what to expect next. So much so, that I probably missed much of the detail and nuance of the film. I left feeling that I really needed to see it all over again to fully appreciate it's craft. Ray's right. Trailers are absolutely ruining modern movies. Knowing the plot, characters and main action scenes, pretty much gives away the magic.

When I was a kid in the 70's Rod Stewart had a record out called Sailing. Me and my Mum loved it, so I saved up my pocket money and went into town to buy the record. Unfortunately they had sold out of Sailing but they did have the album Crazy Horses by the Osmonds. 50+ years later I still have the album, although I don't have a record player to play it on, lol.
