@Treasures of Sin at least he was being himself, you may not find those types of jokes funny, but those jokes had made billions of people laugh, such as myself, he had a great life, and everyone agrees that he was considered one of the greats Edit: I dont plan on arguing about this, a lot of different people find different types of aspects funny like dark humor, or even the jokes that he made, and robin William's happened to have dirty sense of humor, he also had one of the best experiences with a gorilla, you probs already know about it, but if you consider that below the belt, I feel sorry for you, have a good day

@Treasures of Sin Your ignorance is astonishing. George Carlin also did drugs and alcohol and was destructive but that could never stop hm from being one of the best comedians in the world. Only small people feel threatened by such impressive accomplishments.. and only bullies wish to humiliate others just to feel good about themselves. As to all those who knew him.. they always described him as an extremely generous, and kind, and decent, and polite person, who never stopped helping others..

Robin Williams was really witty, so good at improvising in a split second. And one of the reasons that, in my opinion, people love him so much, is because he would say things that most of us would not dare say by fear of the judgement from others. Sadly, behind his mask, he was also a man who as suffering. That makes the him even more extraordinary.

It's so nice how UK-based hosts (Graham Norton, Jonathan Ross) let the guests speak more freely and allow them to go off on tangents. For guests with stories to tell, it doesn't feel as irritating as US-based talk shows where the host keeps interrupting to drag them along conversational checkpoints.
