Me too. I was introduced to this sweet couple when they swapped bus/van with Kara and Nate. Raya, I don't know if they still make this but you used to be able to by an attachment for a faucet that was a hose with a spray top for washing your hair in the sink; not the kind of sprayer some sinks have for dishes but a rubber one specifically for hair.

In Paris they scan licence plate directly from patrolling car (of private companies nowadays) and check online if you bought a ticket, they don't put any tickets on the windshield. But if you have a foreign licence plate, it will be harder for them to get to you ;)

Time to take a look at SimpliSafe! I think both Kara/Nate and Emon/Bec have it in their vans. I imagine Bec feels a lot safer with it in the van after theirs was broken in to! Oh and Emon and Bec have it in their Cabin too. :)

I would say I'm a mixture of both, I will have a rough plan in my head but sometimes I get those spontaeneous moments where you just go with the flow !

Great question.. I used to be an extreme planner.. my family said it didn’t feel like vacation because we were always “behind schedule “. Now I am a changed woman! I love the research to find all of the things to see then I pick a few “must see” and try to fit them into no schedule so I can relax and enjoy the scenery and feel the vibe of a place organically. Hopefully meeting some people along the way and learning about different perspectives. I do adore Paris! Love to see it from van life and vegan perspective!

All of France is becoming much more environmentally conscious, so I'm not surprised that you found so many vegan options in Paris. I always make a plan for two or three things a day (a restaurant I wanna try, a shop, anything) and then I just walk everywhere and discover random stuff I often like way more than the plans I made. But without the plans I wouldn't know where to walk towards and I like exploring a city on the map before going ;)

When I first started traveling I had packed agendas but now I like to plan a couple of activities a day and leave lots of time for sitting in cafes and walking around. Things can sell out so it does help to plan some things in advance. I planned my last trip to Paris around seeing the Da Vinci exhibit at the Louvre.

Wether I stroll aimlessly or plan depends on wether I travel only with my husband or if we have the kids along. The two of us are pretty spontaneous, but with the kids (lower teens now) we feel like we need more planned holidays to keep all of us happy and entertained.
