Alexis John Im still struggling with that as well. I know whats worked for me is sewing my hair onto a dome cap for a wig so that I can take it off at night. Maybe try large twists or braids before bed to avoid that tangling at the nape area as loose curly hair is like almost asking for tangles :)

I have braid in with leave out curls that are about the same as those curls and I was wondering how long it would last if I do all the steps you did and maintained it?

(Not being negative) but when you tie a bag around the ends of the hair you aren't deep conditioning it with heat because weave and hair in general does not generate heat. There was no heat source in the equation. When you deep condition your own hair, heat comes from your body or a heating source and is trapped in a bag. In the instance with the weave there was no heating source.

DyedNatural The heat from the room temperature was my heating source, along with the hot water from the sink, I pretty much wanted to trap the heat in the shopping bag as well as prevent making a huge mess just as if it were to be process on my head.
