ive has my raycon e85s for just under a year and ive had lots of problems with the right earbud in specific. as of right now the right one just will not produce any sound and ive tried any and every single way to get it to work. also the battery life of just the case is also not as good as advertised for me too

Have tried them, personally i didnt like them, the functions and commands are different than the normal raycons so if your already used to them its super confusing at first, also they use a normal size end, the e25s, e25 pros e50s, old e55s, and most earlier revisions all had a slightly smaller than standard ear "nub" these use the standard size "nub" so if you have a smaller ear canal they wont be as confortable or have as many size options for you

I bought e55s and I would notice that the case would lose a lot of charge after a while and once the case was dead it made the buds think they were out of the case and they would connect to my phone while in the case, killing the bud battery

the E25s do the same thing, I've just had to make a habit of keeping the case with at least one charge or plug them in as soon as possible after a couple days of use. it was a big deal for a while, and it IS a design flaw, but I got used to it at least

Y’all don’t keep up checking it’s charge and recharge it before it’s necessary??? I mean yeah, we shouldn’t have to, but That’s how I do it so it’s no prob for me

Yea, I think that’s an issue for witless earbuds in general. If you hold down the buttons down on the earbuds, it turns them off eventually. So if the case is dead, you can still turn them off, but you just have to do it with the button

The upgraded version of the e55 is the fitness earbuds and they are touch now and they last 9 hours and and the case 54 hours also they have three sound profiles it gets rid of the muddy base sound they are nice.

I’ve had this pair for just over a year, I use them for work they are really good for talking on the phone In a noisy environment, they are very durable but will not survive a washing machine. I really like the ambient sound mode.

@@v-2010 generally if that happens it is likely still damaged but not enough to actually prevent it from working immediately, I’d expect the sound quality and battery life to go down either immediately or sometime within the next few months.

I love AirPods Pro because of my job, lots of loud noises but I also need to be able to talk to people in front of me on the fly, I’m hoping these would be a great replacement as AirPods don’t last very long, 1-2 drops and I need a replacement. I got these to see if they are good enough for carpentry work, and I hope they are!

What about using them for talking on the phone? My regular racons are horrible with that as the person on the other end hears all the background noise so bad they can hear me. Apple air pods a perfect when it comes to that.

Hands down the e55s are one of the comfiest and one of the better earbuds out there imo! My main problem is the one stopped fully charging after 2 & 1/2-months…and the “buttons” broke off both after about 4 months…the paint chips off sooooooo quick but the sound is always good for me lol id love to get another pair if they weren’t so pricey for the quality lol

Good for you if you like the sound, but there are way better options sound wise and quality wise for the money. In my opinion, JBL makes really good earbuds. I have their Live pro 2’s and like them better than my airpods pro. They also have many in the 80-100 dollar range with active noise cancelling. That’s just one though, there’s many other options! Alot of them also have EQ so if you like the bassy ray cons you can add it in

I can't think of one that has a mute switch built in. However, there is this microphone that sounds very good for the money and has an XLR to 3.5mm connection for your DAC. Hopefully it works for you: amzn.to/3hT7qTM

I hear you. I listen to all genres and things with symphony i realized that raycon doesn't cut it. But if you want a simple pair of cool looking headphones for woking out, walking and such, they are good for that. nothing more.

Hmm not sure if I missed it, but don't think you mentioned that these come with 3 different sound profiles, pure/balanced/bass sound...the pure mode sounds pretty good with rock/metal music imo.

I believe this is an updated feature. I bought these e85 around when they first came out but mine are the model before they updated to have the sound profiles. So yes, if bought now it should have them but early buyers don’t have that
