As a Brit this was amazingly judged. The video clips were all absolutely amazing. I was born in London, 1954 and grew up listening to the Beatles, The Stones, Beach Boys and a host of wonderful others on radio every day. It was the dawning of the age Aquarius where the Arts exploded. Even now I look back at and think was the Best of Times. I am so blessed to have experienced the 60s. Who is here in 2020 and agrees? What stories do you have?

Agree. I'm Polish though. Despite dreadful life conditions in the Comunist Poland, I recollect having felt free. Probably thanks to the British rock music. Sweet memories. "Mighty Quinn" by Manfred Mann. My teenage friends then believed that it was about the "Queens Panties". English was not the lingo they excelled in. Cheers from a "54" chap.

@Jack Storm Hippies were against the war. Most hippies were in universities which saved them from the draft. Those who did not studied and were unemployed ended up getting drafted or ran North into canada and could not return until years later when the U.S. gave out pardons. In 1971 more or less U.S. withdrew. Even Cassus Clay (Mohammad Ali) ran off to Europe. Where he got rusty cause no one there was fit enough even as a sparing partner. Ali was pardoned only to be laid out flat in his first fight. I believe by George Forman.( I'm not sure). Boy did I enjoyed the sixties.

December, 1967 was a very dramatic turning point in my life. I was only 91/2 years old, and yes, a half year seems important at that age. On December 17th, a little after 11:30 p.m., an 18 year old kid, who was drinking, ran a stop sign, at an estimated speed of 60 to 70 miles an hour. He t-boned my Mom's car. They pronounced her dead at about 1 a.m., on the 18th, one week before Christmas. It was a Sunday morning when I was informed of her death. Merry Christmas. That's when, effectively ,my childhood ended. So I watch these videos with a particular nostalgia, since the ones that predated December, '67, had a magic, that to me, never existed again.

@@georgealderson4424 I'm a far stronger person for all that I've been through. I would not be nearly as strong (strength of character, able to face adversity...), had my Mother lived. I remember all the songs in the video. I graduated H.S. in 67 and played drums in a local band. I don't remember the movies or the t.v. shows, especially the cartoons, very much. I wasn't a movie or t.v. fanatic at all. I had better things to do. It was the beginning of my "experimentation" years and, as the saying goes, if you remember the 60's and 70's, you did them all wrong. Well, evidently, starting in 67, I was doing them right.

1967 was, in retrospect, the very peak of fabulousness. So glad I was there in New York City!

I was 7 listening to the Beatles & stones plus so many other great music on the HI-FI. Used to sit in front of it in my rocking chair. Lol

My mum was 20 years old in 1967. I wasn't around for another 8 years.
