I was 10yrs old in 1976 and I loved growing up in the 70's. Compared to the way things are now , the 70's feels like it was another dimension in time or past universe.

We class of 76 really had it good i agree . .The Last of the freaks vs the jocks ,, long hair ,, & fast cars ., We had Metal ,,Disco ,, & Easy listening music . (.Karen Carpenter ) . The 60s Children was our english teachers in high school . lol . . There was No C average rules . Pot was safe ,,.Cops were cool ,, Girls were girls, women were women . men were men . . . moms stayed home & Dad worked and on the weekends taught us how to safely blow stuff up with dynamite ,, shoot shotguns ,deer rifles and build hot rods . . . Oh man the Drive ins ? . What fuuuN ,,, cool movies ,,. great concerts ,,blue jeans ,,bell bottoms & sun dresses ,, and what am i forgetting ? . Man whatta ride being a teen in the early & mid 1970s . . . Our music like Zep ,Floyd, Sabbath & Southern Fried country like Skynyrd always hits the lists of all time best music ever . . TV was 4 channels . SNL was funny as hell . The Midnight Special played real concerts on tv every friday night . . Christmas & Easter were Holy and Good God,,, though The X Y & Z Generations do have some nice things i admit ,,,we had it made in a shade hands down in compare and if you think im kidden im not . . . Because i lived in it and through it and am here to tell the tales of that window in time that was ""P. F. M""" . . ( Pure FN Magic ;;)

@@jpromero635 Ive a music story for you . . So we were teens early 1970s . . My friend said this to me on the school bus >>> """ wow man you got to come over and hear this new band that just put out a couple new albums """ So we sat there in front of his record player literally in shock as we heard this guy singing this new rock n roll . . . . . It was Ozzy Ozborne . The band ,, Black Sabbath . . lol . And yeah the girls liked disco dance tunes so we could tolerate that . Disco a fad then see ? But would rather eat barb wire than sit & listen to it. :) . 1960s & 80s kids had it pretty good but we were in that sweet spot window in time and had the best of both worlds . . . : )

16 years old and boy crazy, lots of dancing, spending time with my best friend, doing makeup, feathered hair, The Bee Gees, Queen, David Bowie, Nazereth--"Love Hurts"..do I need say more??? Best year of my life, carefree, single, no children, not married, paying no bills, living at home with great parents, my two brothers, and little sister. Hanging out with the best friends anyone could ask for. We lived 45 miles from the mountains and clean fresh lakes and rivers, and 150 miles to the coast. Still a California gal to this very day!! Thank you God for giving me the best life ever, one I will never forget, and still treasure to this very day. 60 yrs old and hanging stronger than ever....❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️

For anyone wondering that movie clip at :32 is from "Baby Blue Marine." Richard Gere's uniformed character is a traumatized Marine who has returned from combat. He is actually in his 20s but the horrors of war have made him an old man. In a 1985 group conversation with a Marine drill instructor the sergeant said the Marine Corps discontinued in the '50s issuing baby blue uniforms to Marine Corps failures.

Not sure if you know this but... you know the scene when he is at the top of the steps and the camera is getting closer to him as he raises his arms? Well, that whole shot is actually being played in reverse. The scene actually started as a close-up then start pulling away but the director did not like it and thought it looked better going from far to near, so he just played the scene backwards. If you notice his punches look a little awkward and his bouncing looks a little un-natural and his hood and draw string on his sweats have a slightly strange bounce. LOL.

I was born in 76'. I have more memories of the 80's. The movie "network" shows how most things (and peoples behaviour) haven't changed in 44 years!
