Rayguns and Rocketships! Vintage Scifi book cover art!

Man, can I ever gobble up books like this.
I tagged along to the library just about every opportunity I had growing up. I came from a family of insatiable readers, and from a very early age I can remember going on an almost weekly basis to pick up books for my Great- Grandmother (in addition to everyone else), who devoured texts like the library was going out of busines.
She read A LOT. Probably had a big influence on all of us subsequent generations.
I spent a lot of time perusing those scifi books even before I could actually read them.
Art like this just feels like home. I'd imagine I'm not alone in that feeling, even if the era of the art may be a little off from what some of us experienced.

It looks like a new edition/printing will be released in February of next year.

This is mostly a collection of obscure UK covers. ( that's why the old UK money logo is so prominent ) By a bunch second-rate illustrator hacks. The images are kooky... because so were the guys that drew them.
