Plus he cocks his head towards Tim, the motion of which causes the bad guy to tilt his head in an angle where Tim can get the shot.

wow. Me too. I got to shoot competitively one time while I was in the Marine Corps. I was 5th in the pistol, 9th in the rifle, and 7th overall out of 150 Marines. Most of them had been competing for years.
