I know it's not really the focus but i like that Kidd has the oposite idea to what Luffy learned from Shanks. "I don't want to conquer anything,it's the most free person that is the king of the pirates" That whole scene with Rayleight is the most "One Piece" thing in the world to me. The timeline we have, as of this episode, is that 26 years ago Roger learned he had a terminal illness. So he gathered his crew (including Crocus) and they spent the next 3 years "conquring" the Grandline, and learned the History of the World (Rayleigh also hints here that he knows the Truth of what Ohara was looking into, since he says they also may have rushed things.) Then 23 years ago, Roger disbanded his crew and went off to do whatever. 22 years ago he turned himself in, and told people to set sail. 20 years ago Ohara fell to the Buster Call. And 10 years ago Shanks left his hat with Luffy.

The expected lore drop didn't disappoint! Speaking of, the translation here says Roger heard "the voice of the universe", but the original line is literally more like "the voice of all things", which adds more mystique, IMO. He will hype you up without actually revealing much but basically teasing you by answering your questions with MORE questions 😅😅It does work though as it makes sense and keeps making you hype up regarding everything . 20:28 Remember how in live action , Garp was there and when Roger started speaking Garp realized that Roger is leaving a dying spark that will ignite the whole world . This isn't a spoiler but common question . Rayleigh said to Robin that she should find answers herself and maybe she will arrive to a different answer then what they arrived that . Meaning Roger Pirates had chosen a path after finding out the truth but from how Rayleigh said that it feels like he wanna see what Straw Hats or any other Roger's successor will decide after finding out the truth . Roger purposely became the opening for the Great Pirate Era by telling everyone to find the One Piece . If you connect the questions/dots you would think "Why did Roger or his crew not tell the world about the truth they found ?" and also "Why did Roger or his crew not leave a hint for the world to find One Piece?" This would mean Roger Pirates decision regarding the truth of the world and decision of not giving a path to One Piece are connected . In short , Roger Pirates decision is to let the successor decide what to do after finding the truth and the One Piece . This is the reason he became the opening of the New Era so that someone shall try to get the One Piece but he didn't gave a specific location because otherwise the World Government would have tried to get it themselves .

Note: now we can tell you, but a fun fact that in the episode of Buggy's flashback, Rayleigh appeared in that flashback, it was the captain that stopped Buggy and Shanks to dispute about the north and south stuff XD But during at that time, in the manga it was not so much "detailed" about Rayleigh design so the animators make him looks a bit different (like glasses and hair colors, also missed the scar in the face since in the manga was not easy to notice but only after when they released the color version) so even the animators didnt knew that Rayleigh was a key person character of the story in future XD
