The real answer to your question about Kid is that it's filler, lol. Kid and Law's fight with the Pacifista wasn't shown in the manga; the anime included it to stretch the episode out. There's no reason why Kid couldn't control it, or why Law couldn't just slice it to pieces with his fruit. They were much better matchups for a Pacifista than Luffy and the Straw Hats were. They counter it the same way Luffy counters Enel.

Not all metal is ferromagnaetic, I imagine Vegapunk is smart enough to account for this in his design. Law can't slice everything, it's somehow proportional to his own strength. It’s true! You’re absolutely correct. Of course it’s clear his priority is the women, but if anyone else in the crew is in trouble, he would NOT hesitate. Even if the one he “hates” the most, Zoro, were in trouble, he would not hesitate to help. Not to mention in this fight specifically, for someone who refuses to use his hands for fighting, he used his hands to stop PX-1, that was both weird and mindblowing to see!

So it was devastating in the Manga but in the Anime it's kind of lame because of that. This fight showcases how the Strawhat's strength is also ultimately their weakness as well: their unwilllingness to abandon their friends. Up to this point, we've seen time and time again that no matter the odds, they will NEVER, EVER, EVER leave their friends behind. All their fights we've seen it shown again and again, and it was verbalized really well with Robin's story in Enies Lobby. Now, here, it is put to the test: Luffy ordered them to run, to abandon their fight!! It's a first for him and also the first for the crew. Sure, they started running, but it is shown here that even with Luffy ordering them to do so, it is against their very nature to just run away. Whenever another crewmate is getting left behind, we'll see another one stay. And one by one, because of this, they lose. It really is an "all for one, one for all" situation for them.

If i remember right the fandom had a theory that Rayleigh deflected Kizaru's kick beacuse he had mirrors on his sandals. Now for One Piece at a time: Rayleight's name could be based on Sir Walter Raleigh, an English 16th-century explorer and privateer. but also it could be based on Rayleigh scattering which is the scentific term for scattering and deflection of light, or other electromagnetic radiation.

There's a thing called "wapometal" which are shape memory alloy and it's TYPICALLY NOT MAGNETIC. idk if it's mentioned but if i remember correctly Sunny's fridge is made of wapometal lol that's why it's pretty tough even for luffy to break(also locks) it too. Note: Sentomaru are inspired from "Kintaro" a japanese fairy tail story, he have many animals as friends and the most iconic friend is the bear, so Kuma (Bear) and Sentomaru...XD Note 2: In the manga basically, Kid and Law finished as cliffhanger like "we start to figh Kuma now" and the entire fight was only in the anime, because Oda have often this bad attitude to focus only to the main characters and he always leave the side characters stories as cliffhanger and then you just see the "end" part lol

Why Kid can't affect Pacifistas? Probably for the same reason Zoro can't cut their steal: their structure is too durable and pressure resistant, for Kid's or Zoro's power levels to affect it in a meaningful way.
